It should be one and done.

If there is so much controversy or bullshit ending, a rematch CAN be made.

Don't always need rematch clauses.
do you remember when Warren had a monopoly, and every fight involving someone from a rival outfit ha£ to be on an FW promotion?

Not like FW didn’t take the plss when at the height of his powers.

Can’t remember if he had rematch clauses locked in for his fighters, though.

Well he'd have definitely activated it for Gomez-Arthur if he had one.

DDD vs gorman was a nice prospect clash... then DDD vs Joyce was an incredible prospect clash. outside of that seems like he hasnt put on a good heavyweight fight in many years.

So apart from the two domestic showdowns? Who's done more?

Obviosly there is no depth in the top end UK promoting world, but geeze the gap between frank and eddie when it comes to putting on heavyweight fights is pretty big.

Im assuming frank will have to find DDD, Joyce, Gorman, and whoever else he has fights soon, so mabey things will get better 2022. If they dont BoXXer might put on better heavyfights with there fresh young super star Hughie "young pup" Fury.

AJ/Usyk was pretty interesting.

I loved the Dubois/Joyce fight but it’s the only really good heavyweight Frank has promoted in several years. The first Fury/Wilder fight was PBC whilst the 2nd/3rd were PBC/Bob. Frank may have been in and around it but that’s about it.

Usyk is a blown up middleweight and AJ is a domestic level journeyman plodder.

He's not very good at purse bids. To win, he's going to have to dig deep.

yea 25% 5 mill garrentee. At this point you either take that or have to dig into a legal battle to try get more... ultimently these governing bodies will always have a "its our call " clause i imagine. hope he just takes it (if its still available).

I can't stand Whyte tbh but him and Fury's a great fight and I want to see it, I seen something about the WBC's rules regarding mandatory challengers, 70/30 was the minimum split so why they fornicating about like this, dragging it on?

Sulaiman is pure vermin boxing needs rid of him and his like, Whyte is a self entitled drug cheat who although has earned his shot has also turned down multiple opportunities at title fights eliminators etc, Fury another cheat who has no real plans to reign as champ and defend the title like a champion, if the fight comes off hopefully we get Renda/Samuels relived except both are starched cold and Usyk picks up the scraps

Was also ordered by the WBO, so not sure we can give Eddie all the credit for the fact Usyk was Joshua's mandatory

Nowhere near as good as Lenny Godber's fight in Porridge.

People reckon they did everything they could to avoid facing Usyk.

Joyce vs DDD was a British title mandatory that neither would back out of. Frank was vocal about him not even wanting to make the fight...

Winning bid would need to be $20m+ for Whyte to get exactly what he was offered anyway.

Would love Top Rank to come in with a low offer and let Hearn host it by having to pay big for the fight to please Whyte.
Fight won’t happen.
Fury will fight Helenius for the belt in March.
Whyte will try an different organisation and get splashed again en route.
