Rd 9 = Arrieta is doing what he can he just does not have the firepower. Damned decent fight. Very close round. I think Arrieta stole it.

completely fine with the stop, 10th round, way down on cards, and very rockkked. but it didnt show great finnishing from nunes, im not convinced he landed another shot after that big clean one that hurt him. was swinging hard but coming up well short on most. (probably got a few glances in but when you got a guy that rocked should be target practice)

Decent point, but Arrieta was not throwing back. What Arrieta should have done is take a knee.

I mean, id be ok with stopping that the second he got staggered. Its a low levle fight, nothing on the line, he is way behind, has no power to get himself back in it, the second he got badly staggered i got no problem stopping it. its weird having different standards for stoppages but it makes sense. makes more sense to gamble someones health if they are still in it, or if theres a belt on the line ect. non need in this case. My point is purely Nunes didnt look sharp trying to close it once he was hurt.
