We may have different perceptions of Elite. He’s certainly very good but he wasn’t winning or getting to the final stages of Senior competitions as an amateur was he? Did extremely well as a junior but I probably wouldn’t say he was top 10 in the world at his weight as an amateur when he turned over.

Top 10 in the world for me at his age/weight or got to the latter stages of the worlds/Olympics/euros.

Dickinson was an extremely good amateur but not quite at that level.
