We’re half way through January now and not one show announced yet on BT.

Frank seemed to jump the gun by saying he wasn’t doing any shows for February because British Boxing refused to sanction shows in January. I don’t quite get why he did that but even still what’s he waiting for in announcing March shows?

Surely the sooner they’re announced, the quicker they start getting tickets sold and can start pushing them?!

Maybe Matchroom are content to rely on their crystal ball. There are people with broken legs waiting over 12 hours for ambulances at the moment. People with anaphylaxis dying from waiting four hours for an ambulance.

Liam Smith is most definitely with Hearn. Do yourself a favor, have a look at BoxRec's Top 20 P4P, look at those boxer's last two fights, then count how many of them Eddie Hearn promoted and how many Frank promoted. If that doesn't make you either biased or a troll, then nothing will.

He’s with BT - why do you think he’s got a limited budget? His U.K. stable is probably bigger than anyone else’s bar MTK.

Billy hasn’t announced his retirement and still has one fight on his deal with Matchroom from memory.

Liam Smith is with Matchroom. They were ok with him fighting on the Russian show.

And no, Frank didn’t return big profits this year. The company that do the promotional activities has Frank’s sons as directors. It made £4m profit last year but still has an overall net liability position of £6.4m. The controlling party of the company is a Mrs S Warren. For what it’s worth Matchroom’s profit before tax was 5 times higher than that.

I would imagine the bulk of Queensbury’s profit comes from Tyson. Do they really do enough to justify it?

Due to the amount of times FW has wound up companies to avoid paying people I don’t think he’d be allowed to be actually on the books for it.
