Rd 5 = Butler standing ground. Butler landing cleaner and more here. Head clash. Another close rd.

10-9 Butler
48-47 Rosario

Rd 6 = last rd. Nice right Rosario. Nice left butler. Butler throwing real well this is close. Winging it. Another very close rd.

10-9 Butler
57-57

Could go either way. Likely will go for the undefeated fighter (Rosario).

I think that was 5-1.

You're very generous to Butler.

58-55
59-54 x 2

UD Rosario

I can see the 58-55. I almost went that way. 59-55 too wide, imo, but not surprising.

Sky NZ doesn't have this fight card.
Bugger it, I am going to have to watch it later.

I did not see a 5-1 fight. After rd 2, Rosario was getting countered and he was not throwing many combos. Whatever. I have no problem with Rosario getting it, based on rd 1 which should have been 10-8 without the ropes.

Butler came back in to it for sure.
Rosario did that young prospect thing of coming out like RuPaul on a rocket, but then looking for the KO too much, running out of ideas and getting samey and dull.

Butler's corner got up to stop it, in R1 and the ref did the ol' "show me something next round' ting too.

That beard will cushion about 80% of the force of the blows...very unfair.

4-1 Nova.

Could be 3-2 I guess, but Nova looks so much stronger. Seems to be breaking him down... :box:

I like this two fight format Top Rank is putting on. Gets us straight to some good fights. We can watch the up and comers on ESPN+ if we want. I love boxing but sitting around 3-4 hours waiting on a main event can get boring at times.

Encar is being out-muscled...bullied on the inside. How much can he take and how good is Nova's gastank are the questions.
