Sounds it but is it signed ? Is there a date? These promoters love announcing something is happening after a few meetings only. Yoka intuitively seems to me a bit cowardly but I think Yoka beat the dangerous Hrgovic once maybe twice in Ams?

I mean I have to say Yoka / Hrgovic is the better fight

If the Hrgovic matchup gets made instead, then it's not disappointing.

It's the Hrgovic fight he's out of.

Then it's a pity. However, it seems fair. Yoka and Bakole signed to fight, paid for the camps.

UFC this weekend. Best heavyweight vs 2nd best heavyweight.... best 125lber vs 2nd best 125lber (due to a sensable amount of divisions this is the equivalent of a combo of fly, super fly, bantum, super bantum and featherweight in boxing)....

Very hard for boxing to compete with that. if they both stay on there current paths.

It doesn't have to compete, they're two different sports. If the top four snooker players were playing each other tomorrow, would boxing have to compete? The UFC event here in March will be the first one in 3 years.

Probably not, or at least not with the sort of money bandied about now.
I hate UFC as a sport, but it does have a far better model, and better match ups. Boxing is disjointed, confusing and too many boring knock over fights, unworthy ppv cards, and you need 4 different subscriptions just to watch it.

They are different sports but to say it dosent have to compete is just being wilfully ignorant. For a start, UFC is winning over a lot of would be boxing fans. Additionaly there is also just the idea of time slot competiton, Both UFC and boxing normaly have big cards late saturday night, and that puts them in direct competition for peoples viewership,... Brittish boxing is less directly effected as a whole but still massivly effected.
