It just encourages them to keep ripping us off. Just wait two days and it will be on youtube meaningless fight, no belt, both coming of losses, what does it matter?

Nope. They didn’t report Tank’s either and in fairness never actually report them. If they’re good then they’re ‘leaked’ to media. If not then it takes the media a little while to get a gauge for them.
There is a rumour Ortiz-Martin did less than 25k even at $39.99maverick23 wrote: ↑19 Jan 2022, 06:32Nope. They didn’t report Tank’s either and in fairness never actually report them. I saw Rick Glaser post about the 25,000. No idea how reliable he is though.Ruthless-RKO wrote: ↑19 Jan 2022, 06:47There is a rumour Ortiz-Martin did less than 25k even at $39.99maverick23 wrote: ↑19 Jan 2022, 06:32Nope. Probably not. The betting odds quite rightly consider this to be a very competitive match-up.margaret thatcher wrote: ↑19 Jan 2022, 11:08 Could be a fight to predict a Thurman win but bet on Barrios
Not $75 bucks, that's for sure. But as OT MVP, I might deem to look down on you favorably in the next 11 months leading up to the next election
Yes it is incredibly greedy. If the undercard was really decent - then OK it might be reasonable value.Ruthless-RKO wrote: ↑19 Jan 2022, 04:50 The price is $74.95
What a rip!!
Thought they’d do $50 or something.
Wow!! What a deal!
How the heck it's anything is dodgy. Thurman should have dropped off any orgs ratings due to inactivity, and Barrios is stepping up after a loss. Its bullsh*t is what it is.
Well, being a crazy PPV you they need a name they can give to it. elliminator fits the bill. seeing as elliminators (non final ones) mean nothing, im sure one of the governing bodys is willing to give nothing away for a couple of percent of a PPV (even if its one of the worst ppvs ever).
Oh yeah, I forgot about the % and the cunning greed of the orgs. Actually I'm now surprised the others aren't putting some tag on this for a cut of the wedge, however tiny it may begregregegg wrote: ↑19 Jan 2022, 23:41Well, being a crazy PPV you they need a name they can give to it. elliminator fits the bill. seeing as elliminators (non final ones) mean nothing, im sure one of the governing bodys is willing to give nothing away for a couple of percent of a PPV (even if its one of the worst ppvs ever).
I agree. All of the ABC's are corrupt. They promote and protect who they like, try to exploit ones they don't. It reminds me of the US Congress. Lobbyists from rich corporations run everything.
Dillian Whyte engaged in an official eliminator against Dereck Chisora almost four years before his eventual loss to Alexander Povetkin.
But they probably like Thurman more than they like Whyte. And the fact that he’s been WBC champion before.Enlightened-One wrote: ↑24 Jan 2022, 05:36Dillian Whyte engaged in an official eliminator against Dereck Chisora almost four years before his eventual loss to Alexander Povetkin.
And he never received an opportunity to challenge for the WBC’s world heavyweight title during that timeframe.
So the WBC making the Thurman-Barrios bout as an official eliminator means nothing, other than providing an opportunity for Mauricio Sulaiman to receive sanctioning fees.
Keith Thurman has only won one bout within the last 59 months, which is pretty much five years. He's facing Barrios after 2½ year layoff.
The WBC are rancid to almost comedic proportions!![]()
