Did he? Did he come up with the training methods and patent the lines on the floor?

So did Brendan or any Unity lads box like that before Herol?
The lines have nothing to do with it. Wharton did them, and hes as far away from the Graham style as you'll get.

The lines were designed to enable fighters to switch stances easily. Graham, Nelson, Rhodes, Naz, Brook and Galahad spent huge chunks of their lives practising them. None of these would agree with you that "The lines have nothing to do with it".

And not all did after...... Jon Keeton/ Chris Saunders / Jon Thaxted ect. Brendan took what Herol did and built on it. Look how many champions he built from scratch with the basics of the lines

I'm not denying that. He probably has the best track record in the country.

You're better than that Mickey.
Brendan was in his 30's then but he already had junior champions who fighters couldn't land a glove on.

I know, just playing devil's advocate. I've seen a lot of Unity boys who don't box like that. Do they still call it Unity?

Khan: Mayweather Was Being a P-ssy, Wouldn't Fight Me, So I Agreed To Canelo

“When [Golden Boy CEO] Oscar [De La Hoya] called me I couldn’t say no. Maybe I’m too brave for my own good. Mayweather was being a p-ssy and wouldn’t fight me so I said cool, let’s do it. It was a mismatch on paper. To be leading in the fight was amazing really. I earned his respect," Khan told iNews.

"Yes I got knocked out but he is one of the best Mexican fighters of all time. I weighed in on the night at 158 pounds, he was 187. It was crazy. At the weigh-in he didn’t seem that big but when I saw him in the corner I was thinking what am I doing here? He had his back to me. It was huge.”

Before my time, but heard stories of Walter Clayton and Pete Bennett as 2 who “should have been” :TU:

Could we see a passing of the torch fight with the winner vs Josh Taylor. Sky/Top Rank has got to be impressed with the numbers/interest this fight is generating. Yes I know there is a rematch clause but a fight with Khan especially could elevate Taylor to superstar status

If Khan wins then Taylor/Khan at welter is an understandable fight as it will get Taylor more publicity in the U.K. than his whole career has so far. If Brook wins then I can’t see it happening - Brook won’t get down to welter again.

Is this the co-main?!? Crazy. I know the PPV won’t need a stacked undercard to sell but this is pretty poor and that’s coming from someone who doesn’t mind women’s boxing too much. Jonas has been fighting at super feather/lightweight but is going up to light middle.

Well good for Jonas, but how is she allowed this shot? - Its for a vacant title also. Be nice is she can do it after IMO getting robbed vs Harper (it was close but I don't know anyone who thought Harper won) and running Katie Taylor very very close and I thought she was crazy to leave Hearn if she had world title aspirations, well done for getting this one - but I think questions must be asked about the WBO to sanction this.

Having said that - Eddie will be a fine one talking if he does open his mouth about it - ummm Shannon Courtney got a world title fight with her record.

Natasha Jonas to fight for world title on Amir Khan-Kell Brook undercard on February 19, live on Sky Sports Box Office

Amir Khan vs Kell Brook is on February 19, live on Sky Sports Box Office; undercard includes Natasha Jonas' world title shot, Viddal Riley, the Azim brothers, Brad Rea and more...

Natasha Jonas will have a chance to finally become a world champion when she fights Ewa Piatkowska for the vacant WBO super-welterweight championship on the Amir Khan vs Kell Brook undercard on February 19, live on Sky Sports Box Office.

The belt that was formerly held by Claressa Shields will be the prize for Jonas against a former two-time WBC champion.

Jonas said: "Before I signed with BOXXER, my management and I had a meeting with Ben Shalom and told him what my goals and ambitions were and what I wanted to achieve before leaving the sport.

"I knew it wouldn't be easy with so many champions tied up but Ben assured me he would make it happen and he hasn't let me down.

"I know it's a big risk but those risky fights have brought out the best in me and I'm ready. I'm looking forward to it, it couldn't be on a bigger show for north-west boxing and after I've boxed I'll be in the crowd myself to enjoy the main event. I am over the moon and I want to step up and get that world championship."

Ben Shalom, BOXXER founder and CEO, said: "Jonas has been a pioneer for female boxing in the UK and we're delighted that we were able to deliver this opportunity for her to add a major world title to her outstanding list of achievements on what will be the biggest British boxing card of the year."

Adam Smith, Head of Boxing Development at Sky Sports, said: "It's absolutely fabulous that Natasha Jonas, one of our leading fighters, has a golden opportunity of lifting the world title on such a huge occasion.

"This is once again a tough challenge for Tasha as she must get through highly-regarded former world champion Ewa Piatkowska.

"It's a cracking chief support fight on the massive Khan-Brook card and a wonderful chance for Tasha to make her boxing dreams finally come true."

Also on the undercard, Manchester's Brad Rea returns to the ring for an eight-round rumble with undefeated Irish southpaw Craig McCarthy.

Manchester's Charlie Schofield will defend the English super-middleweight title against Germaine Browne.

Yorkshire super-featherweight threat Ibrahim Nadim, who trains under Ricky Hatton, will also feature.

Top cruiserweight prospect Viddal Riley and battling brothers Adam Azim and Hassan Azim were already confirmed for the undercard.

A main event that will sell regardless but this could be one of the poorest PpV undercards in a long time.

Can't wait for Adam Smith's cringe commentary on the Natasha Jonas fight... :D

Before the fight:
Jonas, tough, uncompromising, relentless Olympic medallist! A trailblazer for women's boxing which is thriving in the UK and the world! A typically teak tough scouser!

During the fight:
And what a fantastic advert for women's boxing! This is one of the the best quality and most exciting fights we have seen recently on SkySports! Male or female!

Etc etc

This shouldn't be PPV. Just put it on regular Sky. We already pay for that.

It's about as credible a PPV fight as Khan still claiming Canelo had gained 32lb of bodyweight overnight.
