That will depend on how soon the local authorities want the place empty by.Ruthless-RKO wrote: ↑28 Jan 2022, 15:33 Surprised it will be ESPN PPV in the states. Late afternoon in the US on a Saturday.
Unless of course, being a FW card we can expect ring walks from Fury and Whyte to be at 12am right?

Can`t help thinking this will struggle to sell in Cardiff.
Very glad to see its all sorted (for now)

Fairly interesting. Whyte could end up with either 20% or 30%. I actually would like this idea going forward.

Doesnt Fury have a contract with ESPN (£80m over 5 fights?) and an exclusivity deal with Frank W / BT (That covered paying off Klit for the rematch that never happened? Debt sold to Bob/ESPN?) + the management fees that dealt with all that etc?589555 wrote: ↑28 Jan 2022, 14:37Yep. That almost always happens when the split is so heavily in favour of the champion and it's why Eddie had no chance without risking losing a packet.Frostieballs wrote: ↑28 Jan 2022, 14:34 Definitely done a side deal with Tyson to ensure they keep control.
They are going to be loving beating Eddie.
Tyson gets paid what hes paid but its nothing close to what is reported... Purse bid doesnt mean shit when he signed his rights away years ago
Re: Tyson Fury vs. Dillian Whyte - April 2022
Wow. I can't see how they even break even on this fight.
whyte and fury must be pissing themselves.

I don’t think they can do a super late show at the Millennium- it’s slap bang in the centre of the city.Ruthless-RKO wrote: ↑28 Jan 2022, 15:33 Surprised it will be ESPN PPV in the states. Late afternoon in the US on a Saturday.

The fight will bomb on PPV in the US unless it’s priced a little cheaper. Not many people are going to fork out $80 to watch 2 Brits go at 4pm.

Yes. Which further explains why he wanted a soft touch next. That would have been his fifth and final fight of the deal,Pukka Cheese wrote: ↑28 Jan 2022, 15:51Doesnt Fury have a contract with ESPN (£80m over 5 fights?) and an exclusivity deal with Frank W / BT (That covered paying off Klit for the rematch that never happened? If whyte wins the 10% bonus I think Queensbury will go bankruptPukka Cheese wrote: ↑28 Jan 2022, 15:51Doesnt Fury have a contract with ESPN (£80m over 5 fights?) and an exclusivity deal with Frank W / BT (That covered paying off Klit for the rematch that never happened? I don't think top rank/Warren will be happy with this bonus thing.

Re: Tyson Fury vs. Dillian Whyte - April 2022
Whyte will be happy. He’s being well paid as a challenger. As has been said Fury may not end up with as much as the 80% - I’d imagine he’s on a lower guarantee with a PPV upside.
I wonder what would happen if DAZN buy BT Sports before the fight happens….

Surely this fight will do 2,000,000 PPV buys in the UK. It's DEFINITELY bigger than any AJ fight.maverick23 wrote: ↑28 Jan 2022, 16:00Whyte will be happy. He’s being well paid as a challenger. It doesn't matter sir, Fury is such a huge draw people will be willing to pay more than that just for a glimpse of the great man.Ruthless-RKO wrote: ↑28 Jan 2022, 16:28BT are of course gonna price this one at £24.95595179 wrote: ↑28 Jan 2022, 16:10Surely this fight will do 2,000,000 PPV buys in the UK. Yeah it’s pretty crap tbh. Been a few times and just ended up watching on the big screens above the ring. But I’ll probably go to this, since I live in Cardiff anyway, we don’t get many shows here so got to make the most of them.
Re: Tyson Fury vs. Dillian Whyte - April 2022
All part of the master plan, get your rival promoter to over pay your fighter, then nick the card off them !maverick23 wrote: ↑28 Jan 2022, 16:00Whyte will be happy. If they can get Wembley they should go for it. You can sell any big event out in London.
Re: Tyson Fury vs. Dillian Whyte - April 2022

Sorry. I got my info from Wembley's website. It says 16th and 17th TBC on there. They must not have updated.
Re: Tyson Fury vs. Dillian Whyte - April 2022
I'd be coming from London so would need travel, hotel etc so ends up costing a lot for a bad view. Could be one I end up watching on a screen. If this was Wembley or Spurs I'd definitely go to it.Boxerbeetle wrote: ↑28 Jan 2022, 16:36Yeah it’s pretty crap tbh. Been a few times and just ended up watching on the big screens above the ring.
