I thought Fury would have wanted to fight Usyk. Wonder if he didn’t fancy his chances?

More likely he didn’t want to pay any money for Joshua to step asideTerminator666 wrote: ↑28 Jan 2022, 17:06 I thought Fury would have wanted to fight Usyk. Wonder if he didn’t fancy his chances?

Re: Tyson Fury vs. Dillian Whyte - April 2022
I think Pukka Cheese's post on the previous page may provide the answer. It looks like he has one fight left on his ESPN deal. Probably wasn't enough money on the plate for Tyson personally to risk it all against Usyk.Terminator666 wrote: ↑28 Jan 2022, 17:06 I thought Fury would have wanted to fight Usyk. It's Tyson's promoters who were offering the step aside. Not Tyson. Tyson's boxing income is fixed until after this fight.

Re: Tyson Fury vs. Dillian Whyte - April 2022
Is there a date for the Whyte fight- I presume March 26th is scrapped.?
Re: Tyson Fury vs. Dillian Whyte - April 2022
Don't know why anyone doubted this fight might happen ,,, Fury really look at him regardless of what you think of him , he's fought AN AGING kLITCHKO , then would'nt defend ,, then he was brave and took a chance against one of technicly the worst champs ever , ,, then he was faced with
Usyk ,,, who could probably box his ears off and beat him
AJ ,, who has power , but is a technicly better boxer than Wilder , so stands more than a punchers chance .... OR
Whyte , a flabby , ex kickboxer , who's lost to Aj , got ko'e by an aging boxer
Really given Furys history who really, is suprised when he fights Whyte , for me its a no brainer it was always going to happen , think theve been screwe by Hearn has well , he has cleverly out manouvered them into biding far more than the fights worth , 41 million to see a fat giant drug cheat , V a fat kickboxer drug cheat ..... I think Eddie constantly telling the world he's going in hard to win it has really forced Frank to dig deep

Re: Tyson Fury vs. Dillian Whyte - April 2022
fornicate me thats a big bid. I understand this is done, but is it technicaly allowed for a promoter to win a bid and then pay there fighter less than the bid suggests (if its agreed apon)...
If thats what there doing its kinda a joke and brings a mockery to there entire "whyte dosent even deserve 20%" argument, because if they are paying Fury less than his split they are effectivly bidding lower on a more even split.
Wish they could dig out that march date, but ultimently ill just be stoked if it happens.

Re: Tyson Fury vs. Dillian Whyte - Purse Bid
your logic is absolutely sound, but fury’s logic is anything but ….maverick23 wrote: ↑28 Jan 2022, 04:15Why would Tyson vacate rather than fight on a Matchroom show? I find that attitude really strange. The fight with Whyte will either be in the U.K. (where he’ll have more fans than Whyte) or Saudi (where he had his match with WWE) so it’s not like he’ll have to fight somewhere completely unknown. It’s also not like it’s Triller promoting the fight and there will be chances of delays etc. Matchroom have a good reputation and I don’t really remember any away fighters (bar Teofimo Senior) having an issue with how they were dealt with.joshj909 wrote: ↑27 Jan 2022, 19:27Would Fury vacate before fighting on a Matchroom card? It's definitely plausible. I hope it does go ahead. The press conferences between Frank/Eddie and Fury/Whyte will be glorious.daz74 wrote: ↑27 Jan 2022, 18:14 Without a robust guaranteed pathway to a future shot at the Undisputed there was never likely to be step asides. Fury’s behaviour is more erratic than usual, it’s a little sad to see him unravelling. His ego won’t allow him to fight on a Matchroom card and so the pressure is on for Top Rank to bid real big tomorrow.

Did I hear that Fwankie made a 41m bid for this fight and won? Yes I did!
ESPN: Fury's co-promoter, allegedly's Queensberry Promotions, won the rights to the WBC heavyweight title fight between Fury and Dillian Whyte with a commitment of $41,025,000 at Friday's purse bid. Fury, the champion, will earn $29,538,000.

how much muscle did he build how quick?? he went from about 215ish lb ripped his entire pro carrer while watching his calories, to 220lb with a higher bodyfat percent, over a couple of years.. is that undoable in your 30s....brilo33 wrote: ↑28 Jan 2022, 18:32i agree it dont make it right but Usyk how did he build so much muscle in his 30s when most men are losing muscle after 28 , i dont like it but i am such a distrusting person i belive there all tainted makes it easier to watch. wwf wrestlers were like santa claus when you realsied they were fake it was over

yea it is naturaly , especially if he has lifted weights before , a natural lifter can look to gain about 40 pounds of muscle ever, most will come from newbie gains as a young man in early 20s after in your 30s you will be happy to gain a few pounds of muscle again unless your a real body builder , wheres he fit the boxing ingregregegg wrote: ↑28 Jan 2022, 18:45how much muscle did he build how quick?? he went from about 215ish lb ripped his entire pro carrer while watching his calories, to 220lb with a higher bodyfat percent, over a couple of years.. is that undoable in your 30s....brilo33 wrote: ↑28 Jan 2022, 18:32i agree it dont make it right but Usyk how did he build so much muscle in his 30s when most men are losing muscle after 28 , i dont like it but i am such a distrusting person i belive there all tainted makes it easier to watch. wwf wrestlers were like santa claus when you realsied they were fake it was over

Re: Tyson Fury vs. Dillian Whyte - April 2022
You'd have to be incredibly naive to think Usyk's body recomposition from cruiserweight to heavyweight wasn't fueled by a big fat stack of PED's. The Holyfield blueprint. The PED's both massively assist with size and strength gains, and also quite importantly maintain muscle mass when trying to get bodyfat down to be at least in the ballpark of 10-12%. I don't think you'd find many clean heavyweight boxers. For someone like Whyte he would absolutely need drugs to elevate his level, as he is in no way naturally talented enough to make it internationally any other way.brilo33 wrote: ↑28 Jan 2022, 19:04yea it is naturaly , especially if he has lifted weights before , a natural lifter can look to gain about 40 pounds of muscle ever, most will come from newbie gains as a young man in early 20s after in your 30s you will be happy to gain a few pounds of muscle again unless your a real body builder , wheres he fit the boxing ingregregegg wrote: ↑28 Jan 2022, 18:45how much muscle did he build how quick?? he went from about 215ish lb ripped his entire pro carrer while watching his calories, to 220lb with a higher bodyfat percent, over a couple of years.. is that undoable in your 30s....brilo33 wrote: ↑28 Jan 2022, 18:32

He was about 215 when he was a cruiser weight and thats watching his diet. if your 215 on a restricted diet, and you unrestrict it, is it outragous to put in 3 lb of mucle and 3lb of fat over 3 years... because honestly if you look at usyk, thats about the extent of his "Body recomposition"... People act like he put on 20 lbs of mucel overnight.... he was never really 200lbs, he cut water weight to 200lbs.
That said, i dont know if he is on PEDS, he is an elite athlete so there is a fair chance. But his "body transformation" is absolutly not evidence of that.
