I don't know why you lie? You didn't even bother to look, did you?

Here's a post I submitted to the forum on the 2nd December:
Enlightened-One wrote: 02 Dec 2021, 09:27 Key extracts of an interview Eddie Hearn performed with the ‘Behind The Gloves’ YouTube channel, which was published a few hours ago:

When asked about the reason why he wouldn’t stop banging the drum for the Andrade-Charlo bout and instead make more realistic in-house fights with the likes of Golovkin and Munguia:

“…but they're not in-house fights, they're in-network [fights], like I can't, I don't represent those fighters. And if I did, I'll be telling them you got to fight Demetrius Andrade, because I can't say to Golden Boy, look, you have to listen, DAZN would love to see Munguia against Andrade, or Golovkin against Andrade.

“So it's incredibly frustrating, but when they say don't worry about the other guys [Charlo], you know, look at your in-house guys. I don't have any in-house guys at 160 to fight Demetrius Andrade. Alright. Why do we have to look in-house?”

When asked for his thoughts about the WBO ordering Demetrius Andrade to fight Zhanibek Alimkhanuly:

“How convenient was that?!?

“We write to the WBC, who have the ability by the way, within their rules… to order their champion to fight another champion… from another governing body.

“And one day later, we got the [Alimkhanuly] mandatory from the WBO!”

“What we’re doing is asking the WBC to order the [Charlo-Andrade] fight, but [WBO president Paco Valcarcel] then has the right to say we approve that, or we don’t approve that.

“But we wrote to both governing bodies and said ‘Mauricio, please order Charlo to fight Andrade for the good of boxing’

“Paco [Valcarcel], just to let you know, we’ve written to Mauricio Sulaiman, and if [the WBC] orders that [Charlo-Andrade fight], then please accept it for the good of boxing.’

“48 hours later, we get another mandatory [from the WBO]. No disrespect to the guy [Zhanibek Alimkhanuly]. He is a good fighter. I know who he is, but I’m not being facetious. But come on, who wants to see that?

“So now I’m in a situation where I’ve got to be creative. I don’t know what I’m going to do yet.

“Maybe Andrade moves up to 168lbs and becomes the mandatory as a WBO world champion.

“But we’ve got to do something, because we can’t fight that [Andrade- Alimkhanuly] fight!”
Here's the video, which includes Eddie Hearn making several disparaging remarks about Alimkhanuly:
I don't even understand what you are calling a "lie" here. I asked for quotes from Hearn, since you had mentioned him. You proceeded to provide a huge wall of text without any quotes from Hearn in it. Do you understand what a lie is?

That video from Hearn actually completely supports my point. He thinks there is no money in fighting Janibek, it's not worthwhile, and it makes more sense to move up and become Canelo's mandatory at 168, which they can do easily due to WBO rules.

It's like we don't even disagree that heavily, but your manic shitposting brain could not handle anyone saying anything more nuanced than "Andrade is ducking Janibek and is a bad person" on the topic and so you just had to pick a fight about it. Grow up.

You lied when you claimed I hadn’t previously provided quotes from Hearn discussing the matter.

And despite you even citing my post that not only contained interview transcripts, but also the video itself, you lied again, claiming I hadn’t quoted Eddie Hearns own words verbatim.

How many times do I need to keep providing the same information before you finally acknowledge it?
jujigatame wrote: 01 Feb 2022, 21:24That video from Hearn actually completely supports my point. He thinks there is no money in fighting Janibek, it's not worthwhile, and it makes more sense to move up and become Canelo's mandatory at 168, which they can do easily due to WBO rules.
Two obvious points:

1) Zhanibek Alimkhanuly is not significantly inferior, in commercial terms, in comparison to the likes of Zach Parker, Jason Quigley, Liam Williams, Luke Keeler, Maciej Sulecki, Artur Akavov and Walter Kautondokwa.

If Eddie Hearn didn’t want to promote the bout, he could have chosen to allow Top Rank to outbid him in the purse bid process, but he flatly-refused to do that.

Instead, Eddie Hearn and Demetrius Andrade are choosing to vacate a world title, in preference to facing the UK domestic-level Zach Parker.

2) The second point, which is a well-publicised fact you keep ignoring, is that Eddie Hearn has no plans to pit Demetrius Andrade against Canelo. It isn’t on his radar.

In terms of receiving an opportunity to face Canelo, Demetrius Andrade is near the back of the queue. And even Boo Boo’s own promoter is doing his upmost to avoid making the Canelo bout... this isn't hearsay, it's based on Eddie Hearn's own words!

So from a Canelo perspective, Demetrius Andrade’s decision to duck Zhanibek Alimkhanuly, by vacating his world 160lbs title, in preference to engage in a non-title bout against the UK domestic level Zach Parker, doesn’t make any sense whatsoever!

Resorting to juvenile insults, coupled with showing your ignorance of real-world facts, is something you really do need to address.

It wouldn’t be so bad if you possessed an educated opinion on the matter, but you previously admitted to knowing nothing about Team Andrade’s own claims until I spoon-fed you the information!

No, I didn't "lie". I haven't read every post of yours on this thread, only your responses directed at me, which didn't include any Hearn quotes, specifically after I asked for them in good faith. I don't know how this sort of histrionic accusing people of "lying" became such a staple of internet argumentation, but here we are.

Hearn's own words precisely support my point. They tried to get the WBC to force a Charlo fight, that failed, so now they are pursuing what they feel are better options since a Janibek fight will not be financially lucrative in any way. Instead, they will move up and attempt to become WBO mandatory at 168 (a belt held by Canelo) which they can do easily due to WBO rules. This is all pretty standard boxing business stuff and shouldn't surprise anyone.

I'm done engaging with your imbecilic mania. Feel free to have the last word.

You claimed on multiple occasions that I hadn’t provided certain information.

In fact, one of the posts where you made this claim, actually contained verbatim interview transcripts and also a video proving the accuracy of my claims.
jujigatame wrote: 02 Feb 2022, 18:56Hearn's own words precisely support my point.
No they don't. Eddie Hearn isn't attempting to make the Canelo fight.

You’ve repeatedly claimed that the only reason Andrade has ducked Zhanibek Alimkhanuly and vacated his WBO world middleweight title is to become Canelo’s mandatory challenger.

Therefore, Demetrius' decision to vacate his world middleweight title doesn't make sense.
jujigatame wrote: 02 Feb 2022, 18:56They tried to get the WBC to force a Charlo fight, that failed...
Jermall Charlo was the front-runner for the Canelo fight when Eddie Hearn lobbied the WBC.

Also, three days after Zhanibek Alimkhanuly lobbied the WBO to grant him mandatory challenger status, Eddie Hearn petitioned the WBC to install him as the mandatory challenger to Jermall Charlo’s world title.

Therefore, Eddie Hearn only lobbied the WBC to avoid pitting Demetrius Andrade against Zhanibek Alimkhanuly.
jujigatame wrote: 02 Feb 2022, 18:56...so now they are pursuing what they feel are better options since a Janibek fight will not be financially lucrative in any way.
Is facing the UK domestic level Zach Parker, in a non-title bout, a better career move for Demetrius Andrade than boasting a victory over Zhanibek Alimkhanuly whilst performing a mandatory defence of his world title?
jujigatame wrote: 02 Feb 2022, 18:56...Instead, they will move up and attempt to become WBO mandatory at 168 (a belt held by Canelo) which they can do easily due to WBO rules.
Eddie Hearn has stated on multiple occassions, he's not trying to make the Canelo-Andrade fight.
jujigatame wrote: 02 Feb 2022, 18:56...This is all pretty standard boxing business stuff and shouldn't surprise anyone.
How can somebody who doesn't perform any research, such as yourself, blatantly ignore the information conveyed by Team Andrade and then pretend to know more about Demetrius than anyone else?
jujigatame wrote: 02 Feb 2022, 18:56I'm done engaging with your imbecilic mania. Feel free to have the last word.
Have you resorted to insults, because you realise it's futile to argue with someone armed with quotes from Demetrius Andrade's own handlers?

Thanks very much for that detailed timeline :TU:

Very interesting and, rather than repeat myself, here's a post I made on the subject from December 2020:
Ingredients
½ cucumber, cut into thin matchstickssmall bunch spring onions, shreddedFor the duck1 tbsp honey1 tsp Chinese five-spice powder2 duck breasts (about 170g each)For the plum sauce5 plums, halved and stoned50ml agave syrup1 tbsp soy sauce½ tsp Chinese five-spice powderFor the pancakes150g plain flourrapeseed oil, for brushingMethod

STEP 1

The duck
Heat oven to 180C/160C fan/gas 4. Mix the honey and five-spice in a bowl, then brush all over the duck. Transfer to a roasting tin and roast for 25-30 mins until bronzed. Cool for 10 mins, then shred the meat and finely slice the skin.

STEP 2

Plum sauce
While the duck is cooking, put all the plum sauce ingredients in a saucepan and simmer gently over a medium heat for 15 mins or until the plums are soft and the sauce is thick. Using a stick blender, blend until smooth.

STEP 3

Pancakes
While the sauce is cooking, put the flour, 125ml boiling water and a pinch of salt in a bowl and mix together until it forms a dough. When cool enough to handle, knead for 5-10 mins. Divide it into 10 little balls and roll each one out as thin as you can. Brush a frying pan with the oil and cook each pancake over a medium heat for 20 secs each side or until cooked but not browned.

STEP 4

To serve
Spread a pancake with a little plum sauce. Top with the shredded duck, a few pieces of cucumber and spring onion

I see you have resorted to being flippant, which is a tactic of someone who has no counter argument to my original point :TU:

Can you read? I made it quite clear that I was in no position to make the duck pancakes for myself.

If you cannot address my original point, I will take it as an inability to refute my initial argument. I will continue to feast on those salty soy sauce tears of embarrassment that you must have from recognising your own lack of comprehension skills!
