But how does Eddie build a U.K. star on a platform that only boxing hardcores and womens champions league fans subscribe to? It’s impossible really. They’re doing fairly well to sell the volumes of tickets they are to be honest but it won’t be long before fighters see the exposure that Sky are providing and look to jump ship.

He is on the outside in the U.K. as DAZN hasn’t crossed over properly to a casual audience.

i’m not sure i totally get the concept of casuals/hardcores, it’s two ends of the spectrum, what about the big grey area in between ? (rubbish analogy i know) , everyone bangs on about the sky machine, i’m not strong in this area but where’s the evidence that matchroom and dazn social media presence isn’t also a machine of some form, genuine request not taking the p_ss

Sky do have a quality schedule in Feb, let’s see if they keep the momentum …

DAZN may get one round of fixtures the same as Amazon do but that will be it, no way will the PL jettison SKY
