Re: February 12, 2022 Fight Picks - NEW PLAYERS WELCOME!!
My reasons were that Danny has been on the slide (even though he is winning the lesser bouts) for a couple of years and he went real close with Rosado. I think John Ryder is at least as good as Rosado, and Danny's legs aren't what they were, so he isn't going to keep the gorilla off him as easily as he would in, say 2019. Ryder has been on a good roll for 5 years. He gave Callum Smith some fits, and I thought that was a quite competitive fight.
I know it goes against what most are picking and I wouldn't put actually money on it either.

Agree on all that. Add on how many months has Danny been off.KiwiRider wrote: ↑06 Feb 2022, 23:13My reasons were that Danny has been on the slide (even though he is winning the lesser bouts) for a couple of years and he went real close with Rosado. for me their inactivity's about the same, john fought in 2021 but only 5 rounds vs a patsy
that said danny hasnt impressed me in a while, while ryder has improved. i think danny still has the speed and physical tools to edge a decision , but really wouldnt surprise if ryder beats him. its one of those ones where if hardly aanyones picking ryder, it would be a good opportunity

Yep. I think Danny's best performance was against GGG, even though he lost, GGG was in full beast mode. Unfortunately, since then Danny lost a bit of something, GGG took something out of him. And there hasn't been so much miracle anymore.margaret thatcher wrote: ↑06 Feb 2022, 23:17 for me their inactivity's about the same, john fought in 2021 but only 5 rounds vs a patsy

i agree. but virtually impossible for him to get a decision if he doesn't absolutely dominate cash from start to finish, which he won't.Ruthless-RKO wrote: ↑07 Feb 2022, 07:43Have donemargaret thatcher wrote: ↑06 Feb 2022, 23:15 say, how about that mago madiev, some fighter hey. maybe you dudes should pick him too![]()
if there was an option for 'controversial' or 'robbery', i'd pick it, but how do you objectively determine that.

Re: February 12, 2022 Fight Picks - NEW PLAYERS WELCOME!!
to get a quick, most basic update on jacobs/ryder, watch the jacobs vs rosado 'highlights'.
guaranteed u won't make it thru the full 'fight' without falling asleep, then take a look at 'ryder/smith'.
both were 'controversial' decisions to say the least.
if jacobs couldn't step it up and had to rely on a 'close' decision against rosado, i don't see how he'd get one against the aggressive gorilla.
also isn't jacobs a free agent now?
who is the 'gorilla's' promoter again?

I haven't picked yet because I'm on the fence.
Your prediction is one I've been leaning to

Of course they happen, but maybe 1-15 fights?
