Peter and his brother have signed with Probellum. I’m surprised as he seemed to have a good thing going with Matchroom.
Surely Probellum have to be announcing a big broadcasting deal? I appreciate they’ll be paying the fighters well and probably better than the rest but if they have no chance of growing a profile fighting on FreeSports/allegedly.

Won’t stop him fighting on Matchroom shows I’m sure.
Hugely confused by all this I must say. Probellum in a co promotional deal with Wasserman amongst others. Founded by the guy who owns half of Hennessy promotions. Very closely linked with MTK and done shows with them. Share Lee McGregor with Matchroom although this weekend he fights on a non Matchroom show. Boxxer next show is a co promotion with Wasserman.

Yeah. It’s a right mess. Everything’s gone cold on McGregor with Matchroom so perhaps it was something like a 2 fight deal that had to have Farooq involved. It’s not like like Matchroom aren’t doing shows in the next couple of months so they could have easily got him out.garethhop wrote: ↑09 Feb 2022, 06:54 Won’t stop him fighting on Matchroom shows I’m sure.

I can’t see how it’s a sustainable model really. All of the promoters will want to get paid and none of them will fully dedicate themselves to try and turn the fighters into stars as they could find the boxer on a different network in their next fight.
If you take McGregor as an example, what does he get from Probellum that he wouldn’t get just fighting with Matchroom (if he is still with them)?

Wow promotional companies working together for a change, what a mess
Re: Peter McGrail
Probellum doing a Liverpool Arena show on April 22 headlined by Paul Butler Vs Casimeiro.
Assume McGrail will fight on that.
