Make an argument for a draw if Ryder gets a KD in the last rd.

I'm thinking those judges probably gave Ryder the last 5 rounds.

Jacobs better win the 12th.

116-112 Jacobs.

Ryder was far too inactive for the first seven rounds, which cost him the fight.

Feels like a judge will score for Ryder or a draw.

Should be a Jacobs win though.

Well I had Jacobs winning this one. I thought it was a clear win albeit Ryder won the maj of later rds. If the Judges give it to Ryder it is typical British robbery...which I would welcome as I bet on Ryder.

Disgraceful hometown robbery!

That’s one of the worst decisions I’ve ever witnessed!

FFS! The corruption is outrageous!

Have seen far too many fights like this.

Judges scored off the crowd... Jacobs looking lame w/ his southpaw switching. Not at all surprised.

There's been way worse. Almost typical.

Jacobs was robbed.

Danny showed a lot of class when the decision was announced, but inwardly he must be fuming.

England is becoming the new Germany.

I agree. It's typical Matchroom BS. I'd be keen to see a rematch to be honest. Bad blood angle.

Feel quite bad for Jacobs now. He's a classy champion. It's just not fair.

Maybe you’re right, but in terms of my personal recently memory, the judges’ decision in this one was very bad!

True, recent memory I can't recall many robberies. As in last 12-18 months.

Canelo would destroy Ryder, Kirkland style.

It stinks.

It was quite a coup to get a fighter of Jacobs's pedigree and standing, only for him to get treated like this.

He and his team deserve credit for the classy way they took the verdict.

Those are different caliber fighters and fighters with different styles to Ryder. Ryder reminds me of a Kirkland. Perhaps you are not able to recognise that there are different skill levels and styles in boxing.

I had Jacobs winning as well but i believe that the Brit Judges put more weight on who is initiating and dictating the action than the American judges (unless it’s Canelo initiating).

I like it. I think that the guy consistently pushing the other guy back deserves something for that. Aside from punches landed and defensive awareness, I like that ring generalship is rewarded somewhere for goodness sake.

Furthermore, who cares really. Neither guy is getting a fight with Canelo bc it would be a drubbing. Good career for Jacobs though. Maybe HOF, who knows?

could you delve deeper into whatever it is that makes ryder remind you of 'a kirkland'?

p.s. never mind. forget it!
