The wank undercard means I’ll try to stream this. No way am I buying this for 20 quid without a few hours of good fights.

When it comes to PPVs I always ask myself "Have I got £20 worth of interest in this fight/card"? In this case, it's a big "no".

Don't get me wrong, I still think Khan/Brook is intriguing enough and it could be exciting - but you have to draw a line somewhere. I didn't buy the Whyte-Parker card, which turned out to be a well received night of fighting, but on paper the card was not good enough.

Same applies here, but even more so. Nat Jonas in a title fight several weights above her normal? An English title fight? Clarke making his debut against TBA (only a couple of days to go btw)?

The fact is boxing PPVs aren't created with us (boxing hardcore/nerds) in mind - this will sell, and sell really well.

Have to agree the undercard is p*ss poor.

But the Khan/Brook event will do huge numbers due to the main event

I'll watch it if a mate is paying for it, but otherwise, no chance.

The odds of it going past a few rounds are pretty low for me, and if it does, it will almost certainly be a stinker.

Doesn't need an undercard. This is the most PPV worthy (involving a Brit) non-heavyweight fight ever for me. More than Hatton who was never good enough to trouble Floyd, and more than Froch v Groves 2, due to the bigger profile of these two lads. Worth every penny and I hope it does huge numbers and they make a fortune. True 50/50 grudge match.

The numbers won't lie, this won't sell big.

They are both past it, kell is pretty shot.

No way it does the numbers Froch v Groves 2 did.

It will sell big. Maybe not Froch-Groves 2 levels but very solid.

I was almost a bit defensive of it saying people are Tuning in for the main event, but then i actualy had a real look and fuking hell. you gotta give it somthing, hard to pay for a card with zero value from 7-10pm....

Kell and kahn almost needed to dip into there own pockets to get at least one fight people want to see on the undercard. even if its some british levle little guys. hundred grand each they could get some fun fights and create the illusion of depth on the card and i think they could make that back on increased buys.

I think I'll be out for it, I certainly won't be buying it - the main is interesting and intriguing enough to get people up for it, the fact it's years in the making is just adding to the intrigue I feel

If Khan and Brook are that greedy (and apparently they are) they can't chip in a few hundred grand for at least two good scraps on the undercard and we get left with this sorry arse crap, then stuff them.

I’ve zero interest in any fight on the card, including the main event.

Khan v Brook was a great fight years ago but they’re both so washed that it means nothing now. It’s just a question of who is most shot - why care?

They should charge by how much you watch. I would watch just the main event and that will last 4 rounds tops.

It's weird, usually I would say PPV needs a decent undercard but this night is just about one fight. It's been that long coming I'm not bothered about an undercard. Twenty quid to see Khan and Brook finally fight is worth it on its own.

If it lasts one round I'll be happy. This fight is a bit of a guilty pleasure.

So-called big fights recently have been a bit dull. Jacobs v Ryder was awful for lot of rounds and Williams v Eubank Jnr saw punchy Liam dropped by nothing shots and then Eubank dancing around like a huge fairy.

I can't see that happening in this one - both are going to go for it, and someone will get knocked out. Worth the cash to see that.

I'm pumped for this ridiculously given the circus nature of the fight. Ive mentioned elsewhere, but as long as no-one is hiding an injury a la Haye, then I am good with absolutely any outcome. Cannot for the life of me see Brook wanting to go deep into this fight, but with Khan a quick starter, it makes it interesting.

Will put it on about 9pm.

Undercard is really poor but will be good to see Frazer make his debut and the Schofield/Brown match-up is even enough and hopefully is a good 10 rounder.

I’m also pretty hyped now for the main event.

I hope I’m wrong and that it’s a good fight but I don’t think the Brown/Schofield fight will be even. Schofield has only beat one opponent with a winning record and that was after that same guy beat him the first time they fought. I think Brown wins wide on points. At least Schofield will likely be trying to win unlike most of the B side on the rest of the undercard.

I can't see how this fight doesn't sell. It's advertised all over the sky platform and constantly on Sky Sports News. It's a perfect fight for the football fans to get into after a Saturday on the beers.

As far as the fight itself, I've got a feeling it'll be over early and be a let down overall for the hardcore fans. I don't think either fighter has much left in terms of taking punishment or going 12 hard rounds. An injury probably stops play before 6. First couple of rounds will give the casuals what they want.

The undercard is a BT card in disguise.

Basically! Only hardcore fans and purists will be disappointed with the card. Casuals make up the largest portion of the market and they will probably be watching reality TV before the main fight anyway.

It's an awful card which forces the main event to deliver.

I don't think the undercards to bad, all things considered.

interested to Frazer is fighting, there's no one listed & I've just got the press conference on YT..

Hardcores being hardcores, mate. There's nothing wrong with the card and, like I said earlier, the main event is a standalone event. Would it have been better five years ago? Perhaps. Are they as shot as people are suggesting? I think not. Prepare for the best fight anywhere this year. W.A.R.

From a business perspective, no-one needs to dip into their pockets to bolster the undercard.

99% of the people who buy this are only interested in the main event. A lot of them will be pissed by the time the fight starts and probably won’t remember it!

It’s more of an event than a boxing show.

The influence of hardcore fans on the amount of buys will be the equivalent of a rounding error.
