Amir Khan vs. Kell Brook | Sky Sports PPV - 19 February 2022
Re: Amir Khan vs. Kell Brook | Sky Sports PPV - 19 February 2022
Brook looked and sounded completely spooked in The Gloves Are Off. Khan seemed totally relaxed. I think Brook will quit mid rounds after taking a pasting.

Kell Brook in the Gloves Are Off
I've seen him fight plenty but never paid him any attention pre fight and have barely ever heard him speak.
Can those more familiar with him tell me how he sounds compared to his other fights. I hate to say it but he sounds slightly punchy. Or does he always sound like this? Does he seem more or less confident than usual?
Khan does seem supremely confident, but almost dangerously so, given how vulnerable he is.

If there's any justice in the world Kell will chin Amir.

I don't wish to be critical but did this warrant its own thread ?
You could have stuck it here mate

Anyway I don't watch these, the fighters involved rarely come across well (helping perpetuate certain stereotypes) Nelson gets on my t*ts with attempts at gravitas.
But I do watch five mins of this and
Brook = Struggling to control his temper.
Khan = Smug.

That was obvious, who wants to box on an app instead of SKY ? The only better platform than SKY is getting on BBC or ITVRuthless-RKO wrote: ↑17 Feb 2022, 09:06 Frazier Clarke said he came to Sky because of the platform.
Eddie’s screwed.
People are not signing with the ‘promoter’ they’re signing with who ever is with the better platform.
Matchroom we’re signing everyone when they were with Sky..
Now Boxxer are getting the majority, why? Cus they’re with Sky.

Having rewatched Brook-Crawford just now, I think Kell will do him. He timed a few rights and came within a c*nt hair of landing some more. Khan can't punch like Crawford.
Kell BrooKO!

Re: Kell Brook in the Gloves Are Off
No need to be rude mollusc, there is already a long running and highly popular Brook/Khan thread (which discusses the Gloves are Off at length) meaning your thread is superfluous.

Managed to find your way here then Tully, well done

Build up is getting tasty.
Adam Smith shat himself when the gay and racial slurs came out.

Dom stole the show mainly winding up BoMac about his blood pressure, but his dig at Khan "sponsored by Kleenex" was the winner

Watching the presser now. Brook has finally woken up and lands some verbal dingers.
Khan tries pull the race card -- after having thrown innumerable gay slurs at Kell the last few years.

That's the same excuse they offer for Dave Allen sounding like he has a mouthful of gravel.
Seriously though Kell's never been the most articulate but he did look to be seething during the Glove thing.
I hope he does a Prescott on Khan, it would be a joy to behold.

Kell is on great form verbally in today's final presser. Like a different man from the Gloves Are Off.

The undercard press conference was better than the main one. I am really looking forward to the fight but the schoolboy humour isn't funny unless you are 12 or simple.

Re: Kell Brook in the Gloves Are Off
Kell isn't the sharpest tool in the box. Add to that a squeaky voice and South Yorkshire accent and this is just how Brook speaks.
He seemed rattled during Gloves Are Off but seemed on much better form at the presser

Re: Kell Brook in the Gloves Are Off
Yeah I watched them back to back and was surprised by the change. Post camp Brook seems sharp and confident, Khan less so.
Khan's cornerman is a total buffoon -- not going to be much use, that idiot.
