Yeah that guy was a real piece of sh1t.

I read that he violently raped a lady so badly that he permanently damaged vertebrae in her back.

And for years he worked with a psychologist when he was on the inside. The doc spoke up for him and they decided to release him under the doc's supervision. So he went to live with the doc and his wife...

Until one day when he was alone with the wife in the house he attempted to rape her and she shot him with a shotgun. Hit him on the shoulder and he went back inside...

Also, Roberto Duran hated him... Ge said he would fight him for nothing because he wanted to kill him for the game he brought to the sport and his fellow fighters...

Duran was still active when Ayala was released, surprised they didn't make that fight as Tony's showcase. Booking Yory Boy Campas after 17 years in prison and five squash matches was ambitious to say the least.

A total piece of crap as a human
But a freak of nature as a fighter
He destroyed everyone in his path and was just 19 when his career was stopped the first time for his rape conviction.
I wonder where he would of been what he might have accomplished if he wasn't such a monster in real life.
A very promising career was wasted because of his criminal activity

When it comes to human trash like him I couldn’t give a flying fornicate about how great they could be at boxing. In the grand scheme of things it means nothing: he was a violent rapist. End of story.

Apparently they were due to fight but it fell through when Duran lost to Laing. Duran would've destroyed him.

A piece of crap absolutely but was he that great as a fighter, he was bowling over pretty average fighters and was decked by one of them, not sure he had the style to be a huge success.

I guess you could argue if De La Hoya got locked up for 20 years in 1994 people would say 'he was down twice against journeymen, he would never have done anything'.

Ayala is mysterious like Ibeabuchi. Campas was a puncher and couldn't actually put an ancient, severely diminished Torito down.

Yeah I get that but he wouldn't be the first to bowl over a load of fighters only to be found out later on. We will never know
