brook has fought twice since khan last fought.......looked decent enough. .are ppl so sure it will be brook all shot and rusted rather than khan

at least i noticed in last week a lot more turning towards khan than before, but to me he's been basically semi retired at best. last fight was in 2019 and a total joke vs a totally blown up late replacement billy dib. brook's last fight was in 2020 and he was ahead of craw on the cards :yay:

is getting stopped by craw that alarming to ppl though?

Currently listening to Talksport. The hype is like a runaway train but somehow sycophancy still manages to stay ahead of it.

i have always thought brook would do good agaisnt khan, because timing is one of brook's biggest strengths, and it's a great way to offset speed. to me his boxing looked good vs crawford last fight. the question is on his durability, but getting stopped by craw doesn't really give me the impression that semi retired khan is gonna blow him out

I just can't get away from the images of Brooks two broken eye sockets and getting stopped by a Crawford jab,I hope Brook wins but still pick Khan.something tells me Brook begging for the fight for ten years will come back to haunt him

What’s the rehydration clause?

I read it was 163? Is that morning weigh in?

crawdaddy, ggg, and spence all have much more potent fists than 3 years out amir khan

i guess 'the damage could be done' already, but i dunno, semi retired khan just isnt doing it for me

what's khans speed even going to be like with 3 years out and being , what now, 35?

basically i still like brook in this one, unless his face is so broken that it just caves as soon as khan lands anything. but in general i think khan's coming into this from an even worse position

I like Khan and Brook. Both have had stellar careers.

I expect the first solid shot Brook lands will wobble Khan. Always thought Brook was just too big. I still do.

But you never know. I kind of would like Khan t win because he feels like such an underdog.

It's needs to be said that Sky Sports are doing an amazing job in promoting this fight in the UK. I'm here (during a week-off work) impatiently waiting for the weigh in.

Didn't really care when the fight was announced but am fully invested now...

I’ve not watched any of the build up to be honest, I can’t stand the sky boxing team obviously, but really looking forward to the fight. No real idea who’s definitely going to win, it’s impossible to predict because we don’t know how shot these two are.
It wasn’t that Kal gets knocked out by the pound for pound best, it’s more how he was sent doolally by a jab…anyway 9/2 great odds on the bolton basher landing first…we shall see. Nothing would surprise, except a dull 12 rounds.

Kell coming in much heavier is a worry though - shouldn’t be allowed & Johnny nelson is full o shite.
I’ll tune into the ESPN broadcast

Funny enough that was one of my best bets, Khan getting knocked out by Prescott in the first round 80/1

It wouldn’t surprise me if neither was able to land with enough quality to really hurt the other. They’re both surely on the slide, and the occasion could lead to the pair of them boxing unintelligently during the early rounds, to a point where the chance of a stoppage may have all but gone.

Khan in yesterday's presser seemed quite deflated by the bookies favouring Brook.

I'm balls deep in Brook by KO now, having wavered a lot in the last month.

Think Khan's seen that Crawford jab stoppage and overlooked everything else here.

Has he forgotten Crawford beating him as well?
