I’m listening on talk sport and they are making it sound like it’s a buzzing night of boxing

Sold out Arena and probably decent PPV numbers , it doesn't add up .
People must want something different nowadays .
Just don't get it .This is not far off the worst night of boxing I've ever seen .
It's an event. They don't give a crap about boxing, they're there to show they're at Khan/Brook on their social media accounts.
That true. Last big fight i went to was brook v jones 1. Even back then it was full of caants just there for the snort. Wankers. I said back then will only go to small hall fights.

For me Natasha Jonas is a legend. No one has ever moved up 3 weights to beat someone who hadn’t won in 3 years and GRAB the world title. For me Jonas is the Roberto Duran of womens boxing…… maybe better

Yes, it's nuts to bet on the draw in this fight, but IF THERE IS a rematch clause - it suddenly becomes a very lively runner. :brick:

Was at the footy earlier so haven’t seen most of the card but for me the performance of the evening so far has been from Carl Froch for managing to appear enthused about that Jonas fight.

Boxing fans are a rare breed.
I'm sat in a pub with quite a few people. They're loving this. They've seen people get knocked out. ... And if Mike Tyson being the 'best boxer in history' is uttered by one more of these goons, I'm going postal.

I remember when you would have 3-4 titles fights on a bill then over to America for another cracking card. Now Im normally asleep before the main event.

I can't believe it's nearly 20 years ago we had a double header - Earl v Vanzie and Barnes v Vincent - on a bloomin Thursday night no less.
My god that was a great card. You can go back further to scrap iron ryan days as well...all of those cards then have been better than most of the shite served up over the past few years
You’re remembering the good ones - not the poor ones!

My thoughts exactly. It’s an arse-covering bet.

But is that really boxings' fault?
Or age + alcohol intake?

Khan and Brook are probably too shot for it to go full 12 rounds. Personally if i was either one of them it would be rather get the KO. personally i think Brook so shot Khan only has to but in a average performace to get the KO.

Tim Bradley Jr just picked Khan. Reckons the hand speed is the key.

1. Please don’t describe me so accurately

2. I’m sure this has been asked before, but I’d like to see some classic cards with several close work title fights on if anyone wants to send me
