Khan shouldnt be taking punches. If assume brook carries him a few rounds and stops him
Re: Amir Khan vs. Kell Brook | ESPN - February 19, 2022
When Brook KOs him, Kahn will probably be ahead on the cards, like in most of his fights. Always funny to watch Khan, and hear his excuses afterwards.Jeff_lacy_ko wrote: ↑19 Feb 2022, 12:00 Khan shouldnt be taking punches. If assume brook carries him a few rounds and stops him

Re: Amir Khan vs. Kell Brook | ESPN - February 19, 2022
Khan is sloppy and makes mistakes. His speed could mask those mistakes when he was younger. I think he slows enough to make this a catastrophe
Its an interesting fight though since brook is damaged and old too

This is a genuine 50/50. I'll go with Khan winning (if betting I'd hedge my main call with Brook by stoppage).

Re: Amir Khan vs. Kell Brook | ESPN - February 19, 2022
This must be one of the hardest fights ever to call. Khan obviously took this fight thinking Brook was shot after the Crawford fiasco, but is that really the case?
Khan is the faster more skilled fighter but Brook is bigger and hits harder.
The catch-weight 149lb limit helps Brook enormously as those 2 extra pounds mean he doesn't have to pare down to his bare bones.
Khan could win by simply boxing clever all 12 rounds but we all know his macho persona often gets the better of him.
It's a habit he just can't shake off, and with his limited power and punch resistance it's downright foolish at this level.
In front of a mainly all British home crowd, will Khan resist attempting to take out Brook?
On the other hand Brook has desperately wanted this fight for years and years and seems rather too intense going in.
Khan has always been unpredictable and this one is no different.
If Brook knocks Khan out many will say it was obvious all along and if Khan outpoints a fading Brook many will also claim that was obvious too.

I am a bit hyped for this. I haven't been hyped for a fight (boxing or MMA) for a while.

19-19 Khan wins the second.
Kell Brook isn’t letting his hands go often enough.

29-28 Brook.
Kell won that round due to the late barrage.
Amir won most of the round though.

I wonder if Brook will burn himself out? He should be able to finish Khan in the next two rds…if he doesn’t…khan could get back into it.
