It was entertaining, but after Brook's 1st punch in the 1st round it was kinda over. Khan's eternal chin problems.

It may have seemed like premature stoppage but Khan’s body language said “please make it stop”. Win due to physical advantage than anything.

I think it was over the moment Brook realised Khan can’t hurt him.

I think Khan wanted to continue.

He probably would have lost to Brook anyway, but there weren’t any facial indications of him pleading with the referee to stop the fight.

You can show me the video of Khan begging the ref to stop the fight if you disagree.

Now we know why Khan ducked and dodged Brook for all those years. He knew this was his fate with Brook. Brook was always better, better coordination, skills, toughness, intelligence, Brook beats Khan yesterday, today, tomorrow, ten years ago and twice on Sunday.

Amir had bigger fish to fry.

Even Brook agrees.

it was okay but this thread makes it seem more competitive than it was, brook breezed it for me, won at least 4 of the 5 and then started putting a beatdown on him. a bit of man vs boy type stuff

dont see any case for khan winning a round other than the 2nd, 4th was a dominant round for brook and was already apparent khan wasnt far from the end

brook hammered khan, man vs boy

Khan was winning the 3rd and setting up the pace, until he was hit at the very end and almost went down. In the 4th I saw a similar pattern, but without the action in favour of Brooks at the end, but at the same time I was posting here, so maybe I missed some action and Brooks actually won the round. Should watch it again. 5th was all Brook.

for what it's worth, between the 49 scores recorded on the boxrec and eyeonthering judging pages for the fight, i think only 1 has given khan the 4th so far. just dont see how that was anything but a clear brook round

the 2nd khan did have a strong argument and many more people gave it to him

Khan never ducked and dodged Brook

Amir had bigger fish to fry.

Even Brook agrees.
Except no. Amir was fighting bums for his 'Silver title' for 2 years when we could have had an all British world title clash :brick:

Wasn’t that when he was chasing the Mayweather fight? Even fought in his undercard.

Them years, Brook was chasing Khan because that was HIS big money fight, whereas Khan was chasing bigger money fights for himself, which he got as well.

Kell Brook was chasing Amir Khan, when the man from Bolton was chasing Floyd Mayweather Jr. and Manny Pacquiao.

Isn’t it funny how people forget historical events?
