viedas on the other hand has some tree trunk legs
Re: Jaime Munguia vs. D'Mitrius Ballard | DAZN - February 19, 2022
That was dirty by Camaron Zepeda, at his first real stage of frustration.

This is the weirdest fight iv ever seen. They need to get some towls and hairdryers out between fights here, its a skating rink in that corner.

Re: Jaime Munguia vs. D'Mitrius Ballard | DAZN - February 19, 2022
did zepeda bet on himself to get DQ'd. Threw a 47 punch combo at his oponent on the deck first time his opponent went down lucky they missed. elbow shoved him down once. Pushed him down once. Then hit him a week late on the last shot of the fight.
Credit to to his opponent, got up rather than looking for DQs once or twice, but that last one was too much, that has to be a DQ, this is where fight reviewing is needed, because thats clear as day.

clearly there were late shots, but i didnt think most of viedes flopping was zepeda's fault. the first time he went down they werent even engaing. then he just kind of took a knee on his own another time, and then had yet another spill after a body shot. viedas was kinda annoying me tbh lol
Re: Jaime Munguia vs. D'Mitrius Ballard | DAZN - February 19, 2022
Going to be fun to watch Zepeda as he keeps progressing. He should probably gun for someone like Abdullaev next.

he was super annoying to be fair. harldy coordinated enough to walk. Looked like he had heard of boxing but never seen it so just kinda tried to figure it out. Strait left right left right arm punches (guess you gotta arm punch when the soles of your feet are lubed up).margaret thatcher wrote: ↑19 Feb 2022, 23:46 clearly there were late shots, but i didnt think most of viedes flopping was zepeda's fault. the first time he went down they werent even engaing. then he just kind of took a knee on his own another time, and then had yet another spill after a body shot. viedas was kinda annoying me tbh lol
But zep risked getting DQ'd once but missed his flurry at a downed opponent.... Then the KO punch was to a clearly downed opponent, which is the definition of a DQ.... It sucks when the clearly better guy gets DQ'd but you cant just make Aside invincible to consequences.

WTF, Munguia looked like a damn ghost at the weigh in. I'm surprised they didn't stop the fight like they sometimes do in the UFC.

ya, i dunno how i feel about this one, i love watching him fight and maybe they checked him and did the full tests or whatever, but a dude fighting one day after fainting seems like a big risk and something that would be an obvious 'wtf were they thinking' if something goes wrong

ya i hear ya, some dudes throw like they have no concern at all for a hitting a downed opponent, maybe because it's not enforced oftengregregegg wrote: ↑19 Feb 2022, 23:54he was super annoying to be fair. harldy coordinated enough to walk. funny enough though, johnny fisher hit a downed opponent one time, and immediately stopped and looked so ashamed and apologized profusively , it was almost endearing

Remember that.. gave himself up, luckily his opponent saw him being nice so didnt carry on if i remember correct. Imagine if his opponent saw the appology and just gave him a soccer like preformance.margaret thatcher wrote: ↑20 Feb 2022, 00:02ya i hear ya, some dudes throw like they have no concern at all for a hitting a downed opponent, maybe because it's not enforced oftengregregegg wrote: ↑19 Feb 2022, 23:54he was super annoying to be fair. harldy coordinated enough to walk. fornicate Mung dosent have a world title? iv just been assuming he does for the last few fights.
Has anyone ever been an undefeated world champ, moved up and then fight 5 non world title fights in a row? remaining undefeated.....
He struggled on the scales yesterday, Mung is going to outgrow 160 befor he even has a title fight there.

While Chavez Jr.'s concave stomach was scary when he weighed in one time, I've never seen a dude change race. Seriously, he was beef jerky up there, and it's looking like he needs to move up to 168, if not 175.margaret thatcher wrote: ↑20 Feb 2022, 00:00ya, i dunno how i feel about this one, i love watching him fight and maybe they checked him and did the full tests or whatever, but a dude fighting one day after fainting seems like a big risk and something that would be an obvious 'wtf were they thinking' if something goes wrong

Yeah, he's taking a step back fighting Ballard after handily beating Rosado who was coming off two-career best performances.gregregegg wrote: ↑20 Feb 2022, 00:08 fornicate Mung dosent have a world title? iv just been assuming he does for the last few fights.

Re: Jaime Munguia vs. D'Mitrius Ballard | DAZN - February 19, 2022
Yea iv bet on him to win by early KO... but i hadent seen him at weigh ins then. It may be a step back, but its high risk, people who cut too much weight sometimes (and its hard to predict) just turn to glass. This is the problem with step backs, not quite as motivated in the gym and leave too much weight to cut...Mexi-Box wrote: ↑20 Feb 2022, 00:13Yeah, he's taking a step back fighting Ballard after handily beating Rosado who was coming off two-career best performances.gregregegg wrote: ↑20 Feb 2022, 00:08 fornicate Mung dosent have a world title? iv just been assuming he does for the last few fights.

mung had ballards equilibrium scrambled for a bit there but just stood off him. probably should of at least clubbed a little bit. closer first, mung 2nd.
Re: Jaime Munguia vs. D'Mitrius Ballard | DAZN - February 19, 2022
Mungia buzzes Ballard with a left early on but Ballard maintains his composure. Even exchanges. Difficult to score. Rd 2.

Mungia stops Ballard rd 3. Mungia ready for more of a challenge.
