Usyk hardly did a thing for 12 minutes then turned up the gas and Derek had no chance.
Clear victory.

Good news.
So that’s an early lead to Whyte in the mind games contest.

Re: Tyson Fury vs. Dillian Whyte | BT PPV - 23 April 2022
BS.COM:
Based on an 80-20 split established by the WBC and 10 percent of the winning bid being set aside as a win bonus, Fury is entitled to $29,538,000 of the remaining $36,922,500 because he is the defending champion. Whyte is guaranteed $7,384,500 from what’s left of the winning bid as the WBC’s mandatory challenger.
An additional $4,102,500 will be left in escrow for whoever wins their fight.

If those were mind games from Whyte, they were worthless. Whom was he trying to trick, Fury or WBC? Both can do with Whyte anything they want.
Re: Tyson Fury vs. Dillian Whyte | BT PPV - 23 April 2022
Based on what we have seen; Fury has been bothered enough to make vid clips about Whyte not signing/saying nothing.
Whyte and Fury knew each other pretty well previously - does Whyte know how best to play mind games with Fury?
So far it seems Whyte is playing the game he wishes .. so far.

In my defence there’s a lot of spastics on here so it’s hard to tell sometimes.handsofstone wrote: ↑21 Feb 2022, 18:25C'mon Dioufy I'm taking the piss ffsDioufy wrote: ↑21 Feb 2022, 18:19Chisora never nearly beat Usyk. Yes of course. And that Whyte waited until the last hour to sign, and has not responded at all to Fury's very predictable baiting could suggest that he is playing his own game here.DrDuke wrote: ↑22 Feb 2022, 03:45Fury is always having fun in this style.tonyevs wrote: ↑22 Feb 2022, 02:38Based on what we have seen; Fury has been bothered enough to make vid clips about Whyte not signing/saying nothing.

Getting into child like name calling is something Fury excel's in. So why play that game?
Fury most likely has percentage of PPV so will want this promoted heavily to maximise his cut - Fury is unashamedly chasing money nowadays - it will upset him if Whyte is seen as jeopardizing that.
I think Whyte is playing his own clever game here.

So the contracts have been signed, however there’s one remaining issue..
So it’s not really a 100% sorted out yet.

Apparently it’s to do with the wording around UK tax. Surprised it wasn’t sorted before now.Ruthless-RKO wrote: ↑22 Feb 2022, 04:35 So the contracts have been signed, however there’s one remaining issue..

Tyson’s probably fine as he just gives all his purses to charity whilst Whyte only made £300k for his last fight so needs some proper advice now he’s earning 7 figures.Ruthless-RKO wrote: ↑22 Feb 2022, 05:52So they can avoid tax..maverick23 wrote: ↑22 Feb 2022, 04:50Apparently it’s to do with the wording around UK tax. Whyte's Trainer: I Think Dillian Will Be a Bit Too Much For Tyson Fury
“I just think that Dillian is going to be a little bit too much for him. I think that Klitschko was right at the end of his career. Even though it was a fantastic win, it’s not a fight anyone is going to go on YouTube and watch again. It was awful, let’s be honest. It wasn’t a good fight, but Tyson has actually become a fan-friendly fighter now," Miller told Talk Sport.
“The Wilder fights were a couple of decent fights, so he has been in a couple of decent fights and I will watch them back. I think that is why this is the best time to have this kind of fight. Dillian likes to be in exciting fights, Tyson seems to be going that way now. I respect him, he’s skilled. He’s been boxing a hell of a long time so he knows exactly what he is doing. I think he found the right dance partner in Deontay Wilder, but Wilder is not Dillian."
“Dillian can take you out with one shot as well. Even up to this date, no one has put Dereck Chisora out with one punch. Dereck has been in with everybody and been hit with a lot of clean shots and a lot of guys have not been able to budge Dereck. Dillian done it with one punch," Miller said.
“So with Dillian again, the power is real. I’ve been with Dillian for about two years now and I want him to be a more complete fighter, so that’s what I have been working on with him. He’s an even more dangerous fighter so, to me, yes Wilder has a right hand and it is real and I respect it, but Dillian has a lot more tools in the box. It’s a different puzzle for Tyson, there’s going to be a lot for him to deal with."

Chisora is also favouring Fury.
Re: Tyson Fury vs. Dillian Whyte | BT PPV - 23 April 2022
He would probably respond that that was a 4-punch combo, though in reality Chisora was gone straight away from the enormous left hook that started it

At last, now hopefully no injury pull outs or other BS.
