Body punch challenges, thoughts?

Post by Controversial »

Have people seen these, seems to be becoming a bit of a thing on social media, Ryan Garcia done a few of these but the other person would wear a padded jacket, now it seems people just stand in a line and take turns punching each other as hard as they can until one person is left standing.

Has anyone ever been killed or seriously injured in boxing by a body punch? Serious question. I know there's one old one boxer but I can't think of who

Chap on the far right only gets opportunity to use his left hand, chap on left only uses right hand all the time. no surprise he won.

Enjoyed that, the winner had the advantage of taking shots with the left and delivering with the right.

I see them and always think it's daft, especially considering that the aorta which runs directly to the heart is centralised

In my younger days I perfected the one inch punch.

These body punching wetbags wouldn't last five minutes with me. Well at least if they stood real close to me they wouldn't

Perhaps the most under rated offensive strike in history is the one inch punch.

Yeah he had incredible abdominals and it was his party truck to let people belt him in the stomach. Although he wasn’t tensed or ready and someone twatted him hard and it ruptured something. Probably his spleen

I applaud your achievement, however I never found the half inch to have the same effect. It's a case of half inch for show, one inch for the pro

I've lost count of the number of ribs I broke with the one inch punch.
