True. Adonis Stevenson belongs on the list with probably many others. Adonis was such a low profile fighter however that I can't remember who he was ducking or fuc ing, was it Chad Dawson or Jean Pascal?
You guys have short memories.

The likes of Jean Pascal, Sergey Kovalev, Marcus Browne, Sullivan Barrera, Andrzej Fonfara and Eleider Alvarez all refused to exploit opportunities that could have led them to challenge for Adonis Stevenson’s WBC 175lbs world title.

It surprises me to see you guys unaware of easily accessible information that’s generally regarded as common knowledge.
I just look at the amount of time Stevenson held that belt, and who he fought to defend it, and who he didn't. It was the mkst protected belt in boxing at that time. Why do you think he was called Aduckis Chickenson?
No matter what, fights get made if they want to be made. Simple as that. And eventually he lost the belt to a low level operator because he held onto it so long, father time got him and not the opponent.
Shame he got badly hurt though.
Do you dispute any of the following facts?

Stevenson was accused of ducking because he had a verbal agreement to fight kovalev and then signed with haymon and went to showtime instead.

Same as canelo was accused of ducking because he dumped a belt and went down a division when ggg was his mandatory

Klitschko Fury?

No one wanted to see Fury get his ass kicked by Vitali back then. Most people thought Chisora got robbed, or at least Fury got very fortunate to get a decision vs. Chisora.

He certainly didn't "dominate" him at all...that was the rematch he dominated. The rematch that happened because so many people thought Fury got beat the first time around.

Who thought Chisora was robbed against Fury in the first fight?
Eye on the ring has 22 fan scorecards all 22 for fury by wide scores. Closest being 117-111.
The majority scored it 119-109

Krusher lobbied the WBC to become Stevenson's mandatory challenger. They granted his request and issued a purse bid deadline, resulting in Team Kovalev declining the offer and also renouncing his mandatory challenger status.

Therefore, Sergey Kovalev ducked Adonis Stevenson, since he received a guaranteed opportunity to face the Canadian, but refused to accept it. Even Kathy Duva conceded this actually happened.

In fact, she was accused of orchestrating the entire WBC-Stevenson-Kovalev situation as a ploy to compel HBO to renew Sergey’s contract.

The criticism of Adonis Stevenson’s WBC world title reign was blatantly unfair, because the likes of Jean Pascal, Sergey Kovalev, Marcus Browne, Sullivan Barrera, Andrzej Fonfara and Eleider Alvarez all refused to exploit specific opportunities that could have eventually led them to challenge for the Canadians’s WBC 175lbs world title.

But haters of Stevenson refuse to even consider discussing those situations, even when they’re being spoon-fed the information!
Jeff_lacy_ko wrote: 21 Feb 2022, 11:24Same as canelo was accused of ducking because he dumped a belt and went down a division when ggg was his mandatory
Canelo vacated his WBC title after Mauricio Sulaimán's governing body moved the goalposts by suddenly imposing an impossible 15-day deadline for GBP & K2 to come to an agreement for the Alvarez-GGG bout, despite the fact that both Canelo and Golden Boy were physically in Florida attending court addressing the $27m All Star Boxing lawsuit.

Mauricio Sulaimán's unreasonable actions soured the WBC’s relationship with Canelo, to the point that the Mexican refused to even pay sanctioning fees to the WBC, refusing to consider claiming ownership of that title had he defeated GGG in their first bout.

Let's not forget the fact that Canelo ONLY DROPPED ONE POUND IN WEIGHT immediately after vacating his WBC world middleweight title. He quite simply didn't "move down" an entire division.

And it looks like Team Canelo will be making their FOURTH serious attempt to face GGG this September, which is not bad considering he's always accused of "ducking" the Kazakhstani. But haters of the Mexican persistently ignore this hideously obvious fact!

OK, so are you either refuting the facts detailed in my post, or are you simply trying to mock me, because you can't undermine those facts?

And believe me, they are facts, not opinions or hearsay. :TU:

How did Mayweather vs Pacquiao win this poll when they actually fought each other?
