So what the WBO is doing is insane it is not unheard of.

Boxing is a part of a much larger business and that business doesn't need Russian boxers - only Russian money.

Many people seem to have quickly forgotten the days when Russia ran most of Eastern Europe.

Sport should be free from political interference but the economic war between Russia, China and the US is all pervasive.

People only tend to only notice once this war escalates to a military level. Let's hope it doesn't become a game of chicken.
