McClellan would probably prove to be too strong for Duran.

I love Duran, the man is an animal...
But yeah - I think Gerald is too big and too heavy for him...

Duran would give McClellan a fight but most likely would lose a close dec.

Gerald rehydrated to 180 pounds. Huge middleweight. The Duran who fought Hagler is the better middleweight but if they weigh-in the day before MCClellan has a much better shot at winning, in my view. Same day weigh-in and Duran dominates.

Prime for prime. For me not talking intangibles like extra post weigh in weights but 160lbs on the money.
The Duran who fought Hagler and Barkley,is a genius counter puncher.
Sure Mcclellan can punch but is was the speed of Hearns as much or more than the power that kod Duran.
Duran comes in smart boxing working the body a nd rolling with the punches. After 8 rds of hit and miss as Mcclellan slows,Duran picks it up and finishes strong for a SD in 12 or a tko in 14

If Iran Barkley asks for a rematch against Roberto Duran, he wins.

This is not Duran's weight.

Duran with the exception of Marvelous, Ray Robinson, Gerald McClellan, Tommy Hearns and Carlos Monzon, has a 50/50 chance of beating any other middleweight in history.

McClellan by knockout in 6.
