Dirrell was shafted also. I saw that and only listened to this one - Dirrell vs Froch was the worse decision I have seen in a British ring. Nelson vs Jones was close to follow it, but at least Jones didn't lose (before we knew about the drugs test).
That was prob my biggest robbery too.

One thing which is true is that away from home you are always starting at least a few rounds down so you really have to rip away the titles from the champ.

However for me Catteral certainly won despite going missing in the championship rounds.

Even if you scored the last 4 for Taylor he still would have lost. Froch talking balls as usual
Yep, plus the KD, plus out landing Taylor by about double
Plus Taylor had a point off in one of the those rounds that Froch mentions.

Think I need a break from boxing. It's becoming about as real as WWE.

As much as Catterall's holding and spoiling was frustrating to watch, did Taylor really capatalise I a lot of those late rounds? He walked Catterall down but was still walking onto some cute counters from Catterall

How much do judges usually get paid (excluding receiving backhanders in brown envelopes)?

They were both holding. Taylor was walking into him and leaning. After Catt got his point deduction Taylor put Catt in two consecutive headlocks. Only one fighter trying to box. Froch is talking shite. Catt eased off a bit but was still boxing and still landing.

Think froch claimed he won against Direll didn’t he after he got a dodgy win?

No taylor didnt hs. even the so-called coasting rounds cat was landing better and taylor was basically walking forward without much of note landing. he didnt probably outwork cat but was hardly putting in clear cut rounds

Not at 140 Stu
That bigheaded twerp Davidson will think they won because of his tactics and have Taylor fight the excact same fight , Catt would be tol to throw more and make it decisive Catt wins a rematch ,, but Taylor will go fight Crawford and grab a payday ,
Ben said that he’d like Josh to have 1 or 2 fights to grow into the weight at 147 before fighting for a belt. I wonder could a fight with Benn jr be in the pipeline :maybe:

Even the late rounds Catt wasn’t exactly losing rounds clean.

He had a huge leave in the first 7 rounds..

How did you all score the 10th? Most will have had that 10-8 for Taylor and the 11th 9-9

The rematch won't happen, Taylor is moving up whether he gets Crawford or not.

Hopefully Jack will get a soft touch for one of the then vacant belts.

section4 wrote: 26 Feb 2022, 19:36 i think he should have got the decison but as you say he did nothing the last few rounds
in fact he held so much he ruined the fight, its one thing using your skill to get out of theway its another deliberately holding round anfter round, in order to deny your opponent the oportunity to get back into the fight, maybe if he did not foul and hold so much taylor would habe been able to catch him

although
to me taylor looked completely drained from the start,

its not good but i dont hink catterall is world class, he deserved to win that fight but i dont think he is anywhere near world class and he has a horrible style, he is like a crab.

you have to laugh at natasha jonas complaining about the result when she was gifted a world title last week, that was as bad as the decisoin to night, there is no way her fight last week was worthy of any area title never mind a world title,
Just a bunch of excuses. Caterall beat a guy on the p4p list tonight. Caterall is world class.

Yeah I had the 10th to Taylor but I thought Jack won the 11th handily so those rounds cancel each other out

I had Catt well ahead, because he was outlanding Taylor round after round, landing better shots, scored the KD, etc.

But since he coasted a bit at the end, I thought the only option was to erase all that and score it for Taylor.

Since a commentator working for Taylor''s promoter agrees with me, I know I must be 100 percent correct

How about 1-12, since it was a 12 round fight?
