Wlad vs Jess Willard
two big white bois, what happens?
Re: Wlad vs Jess Willard
It'd be real ugly for Jess Willard who aside from being pretty much as tall as Wlad is otherwise outclassed in every single way.

Not saying Willard would beat Wlad, but he did KO Jack Johnson, who hadn't lost in over 9 years.
Amazing boxer, but did Wlad ever beat an ATG?
What was his best win: Ray Mercer? Hasim Rahman? Lamon Brewster?

Timing-wise, when Wlad beat Rahman and Mercer they were way past their best, while Brewster had KOd Wlad just a few years before. My inclination would be to rate Mercer and Brewster a little higher than Rahman, but then Rahman has the great win over LL. Which just goes to show you can beat an ATG without being one yourself -- or does it?
How about you?

Re: Wlad vs Jess Willard
Wladimir Klitschko wins this.
Willard at his best was very tough and durable and arguably the strongest man to become heavyweight champion but by his own admission he was very limited. Jab & uppercut, was essentially all he had.
I see something like Klitschko winning every round over the course of 12 rounds just like he did against Mariusz Wach, with maybe some rare moments of drama where Klitschko gets rocked momentarily but Willard be too sloppy and awkward to really make any use of it.
