Welterweights: Carlos Palomino vs. Milton McCrory

Post by scorpio83 »

15 Rounds Welterweight Bout

Either Palomino outwork the taller McCrory on the inside behind his body punches and big head punches to either take a decision or late round stoppage or would McCrory use his height and reach advantage by out-boxing Palomino on the outside behind his jabs, right hands and combinations to take a decision. What do you guys think and who do you got?

Palomino on points or maybe a late round stoppage-MCCrory ain't winning this bout.

One thing I learned about Milton in the Colin Jones' fights was that he wasn't as tough as I thought he should be. Palomino wins this by UD.

That's what I thought.Especially being from Kronk.Same dimensions,Hearns was a coiled spring.McCrory was like that spring that was stretched too far and didnt snap back

Palomino wins KO12. Palomino was a better boxer than Jones, who gave McCrory hell. McCrory couldn’t hurt Palomino, IMO. I can see Carlos taking over in the second half of the fight

True that! That fight he had with Roger Stafford, he probably could have ended earlier if he was a bit more aggressive. Still wished him and Curry could have fought in early 1983.

It would be similar to the McCrory-Jones fight, except that Palomino would be landing more than Colin in the second half. I'd envision a TKO on the ropes for Carlos around the 11th.

I don't think that Carlos Palomino was ever knocked out? Was he?
