Linares had an amazing late career bloom.
He got knocked out twice in a row , then went on a 13 fight winning streak, only to be ended by Loma, who was knocked down by Linares for the first time in his pro career.
All of that was also done on the road.

for sure on all those :TU:

enzo mac had a couple good runs after bad losses. took the stoppages vs ovil and then a battering from at the time unknown lebedev, looked maybe on the way out but then bounced back with a euro title. then a bit later pulled what looked like bit of a desperation move going down to 175, but he ended up being surprisingly sturdy there and challenged for a world title

though i guess when you are a fighter like him, chinny big banger, the career is often going to be ups and downs, rather than a sudden preciptious drop

Liverpool's Sugar Gibiliru looked done when he was poleaxed by Mark Reefer in a shot at the Commonwealth super-featherweight title but he put together a nice little run to secure a surprise shot at Robert Dickie for the British super-featherweight title and then stopped Dickie in nine rounds for a marvellous win.

Ricky Burns lost 2 British title fights in a year then went on to world title success which is some achievement especially after the Carl Johanneson loss in Leeds .

Ryan Rhodes. Things looked bleak for Rhodes when Lee Blundell brushed him aside in quick time, but Ryan kept plugging away buried on undercards until he came good again.

How about Andries? After the Hitman stoppage he was 28-7-2 but Dennis went on to beat Bobby Czyz, win the WBC belt from the unbeaten Willis and be involved in those great wars with Harding.

Barrera- After the Poison Jones fights and what he did after was pretty special with the run he had.
Mosley-Probably after the Forrest and Wright losses.
Bellew-What he accomplished after Cleverly & Stevenson was respectable.

Manny Pacquiao. KOd at flyweight and went on a run all the way to Morales, then after that defeat came again to defeat Eric twice and take on the welterweights.
