Roman Gonzalez vs. Julio Cesar Martinez | DAZN - March 5, 2022
Re: Roman Gonzalez vs. Julio Cesar Martinez | DAZN - March 5, 2022
Chocolatito's SD defeat against Estrada was a joke, Martinez is a phenom and still got showed who is the boss.

11-1 Chocolatito, the peoples' champ.
The 116-112 seems hard to defend. 120-108 is easier to see.
If Estrada is taking on Franco next, Chocolatito should take on Sor Rungvisai again. Eddy Hearn didn't even mention him.

116 -112 is defo a card where jcm was taking such a beating, that the judge went with him in the rounds where he did a bit better than usual
who do we want next for choco? sor would be cool for the revenge factor, though i think sor is getting shopworn. what about ioka or nietes or martinez (the new argie ibf champ) ?

Buffered all night.
That's "Live".
Not the first time they've done it either.
You can't rely on them to deliver live fights live simple as that.
Happened during Whyte v Povetkin too.
Shabby and unpredictable during the big ones.

Lol, boxing has finally lost me for the most part. Had a little stint in the hospital. Honestly since I quit drinking I'm in bed early.lazboy wrote: ↑05 Mar 2022, 22:29Where you been bro? Was a good fight for one round.
Bottom line is the replay is where you watch the fight, you can't watch it live in it's entirety here.
Not just tonight's fight but a number of others previous.
This was a free fight with subscription like some of the others.
I got blocked out.

Great to hear you have quit drinking and I trust you are well now? I’ve been severely disappointed by boxing over the last 12 months but the fights I have tuned in for have been surprisingly good. Canelos holding things up for me right now.Onetimeonly wrote: ↑06 Mar 2022, 02:37Lol, boxing has finally lost me for the most part. Had a little stint in the hospital. Don’t know what Max DeLuca was watching. 4 rounds to JCM.
He won 2 rounds MAX!
His game plan was crap. Did he think he could KO Choco? Having his hands low most the fight.

Re: Roman Gonzalez vs. Julio Cesar Martinez | DAZN - March 5, 2022
could've fallen into a trap of giving martinez rounds just because he was doing a bit better than before, even if he didnt actually deserve to win them
martinez did way too much stance switching, and many times he'd just stand straight up, square on with his chin in the air, like he couldnt decide which stance to take and was frozen thinking about it. invariably roman would nail him in these situations. his jab was also totally pushed and useless.

I had it 120-108 for Choc and I’m as big of a JCM fan as you’ll find. That was immaculate. I was wrong. My hat, sirs, is off.

That fight should have been stopped 2 rounds before the end, Martinez tough but you have to save fighters from themselves sometimes....his punches couldn't dent Choclatito by that time , they should have stopped that fight earlier..

I don't know if its my imagination but I think I am seeing more mismatches on DAZN than on ESPN/ESPN+?

I’d rather see prospects fight other prospects.
If one loses, they can always come back..
But for the time being eliminates process and helps gain one boxers credibility.

They can come back losing A-side status coming up matters. You team aren't in control of the opportunites as much. You aren't viewed the same fairly or not by promoters and broadcasters. A lot of boxing is based on outside ring stuff including opportunities.Ruthless-RKO wrote: ↑06 Mar 2022, 13:36 I’d rather see prospects fight other prospects.

No, I wouldn't claim drinking had nothing to do with my illness but quitting hasn't made me feel any better.lazboy wrote: ↑06 Mar 2022, 07:29Great to hear you have quit drinking and I trust you are well now? Apologies, I assumed it was related. Hope you are better on the health front in any case.Onetimeonly wrote: ↑06 Mar 2022, 20:04No, I wouldn't claim drinking had nothing to do with my illness but quitting hasn't made me feel any better.lazboy wrote: ↑06 Mar 2022, 07:29Great to hear you have quit drinking and I trust you are well now? I’m sure quitting drinking will be beneficial in the long term.
