I saw that he beat some washed up-recycled opponents and he has some hype around him.

Ennis vs Vergil Ortiz would be a good test match for both fighters.

he's a beast, watch him. everyone he fights he wrecks, bashing them up way harder than anyone else has. lipinets only had 1 loss and wasnt recycled, and he bashed him up and stopped him no problem. abreu is super tough, had never been stopped, and ennis wrecks him. that's the story so far

two handed power, every punch in the book, good combos, fast.......and a mean streak. he wants dat blood. obviously bigger tests are to come but he looks the goods. im balls deep and would make him fave vs everyone except spence and crawdaddy atm

He is the real deal, still in the packaging.
The only way he is going to get a title shot is if it is mandated. And even then, there will be some ducking and diving.
They have to pay over the odds for opponents as no one decent wants to risk it.
The best in his division not wearing a belt, possibly the best in his division all up.
Why? Because he has mad skills, combined with speed and movement, and finished off with power in both hands - the real triple threat.

Well, we should see him vs a top opponent like Virgil Hunter or maybe Thurman ? I mean he looks impressive vs low opposition.

Thurman won't go near him.
He is only getting his shot by mandate.

I ain't gonna lie, he is exciting to watch and he has clean power punches in his bag. Good fighter to watch but his defense is somehow sloppy and he may be susceptible for counters vs a a skillful fighter. Lets be real his opponents were some punching bags.

Ennis vs Vergil Ortiz or Thurman would be some good fights. :box:

At 24, time is on his side. I won't judge until he beats a top guy. So far, impressive.

Lippy clocked him with his best shots, didn't even slow Ennis. So he has a reasonable chin.
Yes I agree there are some holes in his defence, and at 24 years old, there are things they are still working on. He has a top team and you can expect more improvement.
The word from everyone that has sparred him is mad power.

Indeed he gets clocked but I have to say that Boots ain't afraid of getting hit. He has a killer instinct and he is fighting very comfortable.
I'd like to see him vs Vergil Ortiz! :box:

Ennis is not with the PBC, but he works with them on a per fight basis, a bit like Dillian Whyte’s relationship with Matchroom.

Doomsday novels or simply reciting words quoted by the head honchos of the PBC, Top Rank and Matchroom?

Looks like the real deal, has it all, moves, coordination, combinations, sharp, accurate, fast, vicious, driven, intelligent, super fit, good chin. Only Crawford will fight him willingly, all haymon's boys will mayweather him forever. Very exciting prospect, wish America produced more like Ennis.

Here's what Earl Spence had to say about Boots:

“Jaron, I feel like he’s very skilled, got a lot of good talent, good reflexes.” Said Spence Jr. to a group of reporters. “He can really fight. I like him. He got a lot of talent, I respect the talent. He got all the tools for real.”

Chris Van Herden said Boots hits harder than Spence.

interesting. I don't think Spence gives out praise to fellow fighters often or lightly

I also remember an interview Spence gave saying Boots was one of the few that could figjt toe to toe with a prime Porter like he did, and win. Must have some dog in him.

boots would stop porter. only ones who can beat him at 147 are craw and spence, and i wouldnt rule him out against either

his next fight should be against a danny garcia (all philly fight) , spence-ugas loser, or porter, though i think shawn retired?

Ok, first lets see him fighting a top dog like Vergil Ortiz, Ugas, Spence or TC, to see what he is all about.

he's easily bashed everyone he's faced, he's capable of stopping a lot better guys than just lipinets. i think ennis has more fire power than crawford, and porter is what, 35 now and coming off a stoppage, at this point he's probably more vulnerable than before

I dunno. I think that I would pick Shawn Porter to beat this fellow by ko.

Crawford would get a decision victory.

And Spence would lose by way of decision or ko.
