Hospitalized, wheelchair-bound Adrien Broner promises “I’ll get through it!”

Image

Adrien Broner is in trouble again after releasing a video of himself in a wheelchair in a hospital elevator. The four-weight world champion vowed, ‘I’ll get through it!’

World Boxing News has documented Broner’s recent activity hoping this would not be the final result. However, there’s been no luck as Broner needs help, judging by the clip.

Broner posted during the Super Bowl that he would take drugs if Cincinnati won before sending out multiple social media posts that had fans worried.

He also looks massively out of shape and in no condition to fight. This last month of activity has now caught up on Adrien Broner.

“Pray for me y’all. I don’t know what I’m going thru, but I’m going get through it,” promised the welterweight star, who was head-hunted by Eddie Hearn to face Conor Benn until the promoter realized Broner was in no position to train, let alone compete.

ADRIEN BRONER LIFESTYLE

A party lifestyle that certainly needs addressing is hampering Broner’s career at the tender age of 32. It’s a sad sight to watch such a young, talented fighter throw his talent down the toilet in such a devastating fashion.

Broner should be competing with the world’s best super-lightweights right now after getting back to winning ways early in 2021. But he failed to capitalize as the money earned from the victory only served to fund his bad habits.

Getting in trouble with the law and ordered to pay money to a victim, Broner has to be fighting to stave off the possibility of going broke. He has to get himself together enough to put in an eight-week camp to earn a paycheck.

That’s not the way his career needs to be going down. Broner should compete for titles and give himself enough time to face the best. It’s his demons that won’t allow him to do so.

REALITY

Sadly, that’s not the reality he lives in right now. And when Josh Taylor relinquishes Jack Catterall’s belts, all the titles will soon become vacant. Broner would undoubtedly be in with a shout if he could sort himself out for long enough.

We wish him well in his fight to get clean and sober. Hopefully, this hospital stay will be the last for a while.

Let’s get Adrien Broner back to what he does best as soon as possible.

For the record Hospitals try to make you leave in a wheelchair if you come in for almost any kinda procedure. Especially if they put you under.

I say try, because sometimes they make me wait on a nurse, I grow impatient and I just get up and walk out lol.

I'm on board with the previous comments, doesn't look legit at all, sounds like Broner is getting a bit desperate.

This clown is begging for attention and publicity. He is bored of his "rapper" lifestyle and he's doing these publicity stunts.

Ignore him.

The poster boy for al haymon's ruination of boxing. broner had it all, was selected to be installed as the next face of boxing, the mayweather part 2 villain act who everyone pays to see lose but haymon just keeps rigging to keep winning (the mayweather formula). broner knew he was selected and protected and behaved with arrogance of knowing he was set to earn billions.

But for some reason haymon was not able to fix the maidana fight and broner got beat up good. that fight wrecked all the big haymon plans for broner who lost all his leverage and most of his value. the countless errors mistakes and failures ensued and now we have a tragedy waiting to happen. Now all broner can do is beg for more help.

you won't find a worst tragic failure for a fake pretender star who was chosen to win it all. Moral of the story stay humble, grateful and take nothing for granted.

Not a Broner fan, but if he retired right now he has accomplished what 90% or more of professional boxers never have...4 weight world champion. Hardly seems possible, knowing what a douche he is, but it is a fact.

4 division champ sounds very impressive, but who he beat isnt really all that special. though he still had a good career until he ran into maidana and started fighting guys he didnt have big size advantages over

his 4 division champ status earned beating:

pauli mlaignaggi (split decision)
khabib allakherdiev (vacant title)
antonio demarco
some totally random unknown argentianian (vacant title)

I get tired of hearing 'what a waste of talent he was'. 'If he'd only take boxing seriously he could be great'. The truth is he wasn't that good to begin with and at 32 he's a washed up has-been. When he fought Maidana he was in the best condition of his life and got destroyed. He's not an example of wasted talent, he's an example of an overrated media hype job. Now that the promoters can no longer profit from his fights his bloated, dumb corpse can be tossed to the vultures..

Broner's resume for the first 5½ years of his career (before his 24th birthday) was truly impressive, his critics only seem to recall what's transpired since 2015, when his in-ring talents were declining.

Adrien Broner was once classed amongst the top-six of The RING's pound-for-pound ratings, he's engaged in ten world championship bouts, faced ten world champions and also captured world titles in four weight divisions.

Even if you severely dislike the guy, and I’m not his biggest fan either, it’s impossible to deny that he was once considered one of the best fighters on the planet.

Like him or loathe him, there’s not a lot of fighters competing today with Broner’s resume.

In this era, more possible than you think. Santa Cruz and Gervonta Davis are 75% there. I think Cruz has a better chance because he could knock of Gutierrez or Ogwawa. Jorge Arce already achieved this. If Mikey Gacia would've fought and beaten Mario Barrios, he would be there.
