Terry harper has the best arms in boxing. Makes AJ look like a scrawny little runt. I can only assume that with those cannons she whacks considerably harder than wilder.

She was a top amateur. Silver in the world champs and gold at the commonwealths.

She was outworked and outboxed. Waited too long to throw her shots and was had no head movement.

The level of amateur female boxing must be awful.
It’s a lot better now than it was 5-10 years ago.

Anybody care to help out with some fishing links. I'm quarantined in my bedroom with ruddy Covid. Thanks!

I don’t mind women’s boxing but having 2 fights out of 5 on the main card is too much. By all means have one on there but given how few of the fights end early it takes the energy out of a show.

This is depressing. My wife gets well defensive when I slag womens sport off and she loves boxing.
She’s asleep next to me on sofa.

A lot of it really is, sure.
But I think it’s getting better. Baumgartner vs Harper was great. :box:

Disagree.
One of the crappeat things about it is the 2mins rounds and subsequent fewer stoppages.

Most couldn’t knock the skin off rice pudding. 2 minutes is more than enough

I really like Agyarko.
If he can show some gears he looks like he could get to the top.

the Akyarko guy looks mega explosive. Reminds me a bit of anthony yarde...

Guys that are this fast twitch normaly have to worry about volume and energy., cant be that quick and that strong and a great endurance athlete.

I understand a nervy start, and i understand that walking in against a counter puncher is very dangerouse, but i think this mexican kid has to start engaging more... Agyarko in bursts is just better, but whts he like when he cant fight in bursts, thos big mucels burn a lot of oxygen, need to get on hom and make this gritty. fair chance you get knocked, but its really the only way you can win it.

It’s competitive for sure and Rubio is landing plenty. But Kev is surely winning.
