What fight were you watching? Conlan was one round up going into the 12th and looking ragged. Wood won plenty of rounds here and was well in the fight. No outclassing here at all.

Iv always thought there should be padding around the rings way he went out was horrific.
Agreed. Often thought the outside of the ring should be bigger. That’ lethal.

A bit worried here watching it.

When you get KOd you go limp don’t you? If he’s gone limp and landed on his head and neck that could be very nasty.

With the knockdown at the end of round 11 did he bang his head on the floor?

I think the punch that did it was obscured by the ref on TV. Would like to see another angle.
Hope he is OK was an amazing fight

What a fight incredible, pray that Conlan's ok he just collapsed through they ropes there, hopefully just sheer exhaustion, that was some battle jeez, Conlan dropped Wood with a monster left hand right at the end of the 1st, he was literally saved by the bell, he took a beating in the 2nd as well , Conlan couldn't miss with that sweeping left, he boxed as well as I've seen him, brought the right hooks into play as well and caught Wood with some hard body shots but although Wood was stunned a few more times he never buckled and he started to find more success

It ended up a brutal war of attrition with both men slugging away at each other, Wood then drops Conlan in the 11th, incredible fight then same again in the last but the way Conlan collapsed through the ropes was worrying,

Wood looks absolutely shocked with it all. Biggest win of his career but you have to feel for him, I bet he feels awful.

Have seen a replay of the ending via a tweet.
The shot is blocked from view by the ref but looks like Wood lands somewhere about the temple and Conlans arms just drop and he ends up reversing out of the ring upside down. Could have landed on his head, not sure if someone ringside has broken his fall.

Don't think we'll see Conlan box again, his lack of power has been his downfall there. Reached a level where the other guy took his shots and outlasted him. That was a brutal ko, hope he's ok.

Wood was getting schooled for most of the fight.

Conlan won almost every round. He’d ping Wood’s head back at least three times in every round. He was faster and more accurate throughout.

Wood impressed me throughout by not getting stopped, coming back for more and not giving up.

Didn't see it that way either. Conlan had many more flashy pot shots... but that doesn't necessarily win rounds against a guy that's more often forcing the action, landing shots of his own.

Will be very interesting to see the official cards.
