At 168lbs, Roy Jones Jr. wins by decision in a classic boxing war.

At 175lbs and 190lbs (or 200lbs), Sam Langford either wins by decision or late round knockout win in a classic boxing war.

Difficult to say. Langford in my opinion was the greatest boxer there ever was and he could have been the world champion in five different weight classes: Lightweight, Welterweight, Middleweight, Light Heavyweight and Heavyweight but he was shut out for the most part because of his color and because he was simply too damn good.

That being said Roy Jones Jr was such an athletic freak of nature in his prime that I'm not so sure that Langford could have caught him. But I venture to say the 190 & up version of Roy gets sparked out by Langford.

168 & 175 is a bit harder to determine, largely because the bulk of Roy's career at 175 was against guys who were not particularly all that good--- was he really truly that good or dominant because he was that great or was it because of the era he was in?

At 168 & below he made Hopkins & Toney look pretty damn ordinary and that's a hard feat. I'm not so sure Langford could have beat him at those weights even though when Langford was only 155-165 pounds he was battling heavyweights and winning.
