I’ve got quite large doubts whether Fury, training in his home gym in Morecambe is taking this seriously enough. He looks very fat in this photograph from December. I think he’s just coasting at this point, whereas Whyte with a lot less talent might well be training to the max!

You do realise December is nearly 4 months past? He looked fine at the press conference and will likely come in like he usually does.
I’ve seen nothing concerning about his lack of focus here.
He’s just being typical Tyson.

So what weight do you think he’s coming in at? I’m thinking 20 stone, which is 280 pounds. Or 33 pounds more fat (plus maybe a little muscle) than when in peak form against Klitschko just over 6 years ago. He used to do proper training camps abroad back then too.

Always left me wondering why a lot have these camps abroad ,, Now i know a lot will say no distractions , no pubs , no mates ect ect ,,, but personaly i would expect a boxer to have the motivation and mind set to ignore all these things anyway ,, Tyson done it going of the radar for social media .

You could argue its for the relaxation after training ,, but i would argue back , guys like Tyson and other young boxers with famillys will relax going home to the wife and kids . rather than 2000 miles away missing them

I can understand if your going to fight in Vegas in there summer , yep go train in the desert get used to the heat ,, if its high altitude training yep go for it you may need it .

But going to sunny spain , when your fighting in England just does,nt compute with me ,, course Ben Davidson loved it when he was with Tyson , sat back buy the pool brushing his hair after training , to me the only thing you get that benefits is a good tan . Tyson will be in just has good shape training in his own gym in morcambe

Is anyone suggesting he’s going to weigh less than 20 stone? I think one of the issues of mauling with Whyte will be that Whyte is a lot stronger than Fury’s recent opponents and Tyson might well be the one getting pushed around and tired out this time.

I used to be able to gauge Tyson's weight in the past but the past two years or so it's been rather difficult. Muscle weighs more than fat for sure, so when I think he is weighing less he's either staying the same or being heavier. I do think for Whyte he should be coming in at 260 pounds, although I would not be surprised if he was 270.

They weigh the same, but 1 litre of muscle weighs around 20% heavier than 1 litre of fat. I don't think Tyson has weighed in with less than 20% bodyfat for a very long time. It's a lot of fat for an athlete to carrying around. I don't think he really watches what he eats at all anymore.

Is that since he looked fat as butter in December? I’m happy to be proved wrong, but I think he’s going through the motions at this point. The Whyte fight is likely to be a shock to the system. I think either he will lose or make incredibly hard work of eking out a decision win.

I’ll be shocked if he’s 280 plus.
He’s definitely not going to be 250 so I’d imagine he will be like he was for Wilder II and III.
275lbs maybe.
He looked that as the presser imo and it’s not like he’s going to do any diet control in the run up.
With Tyson anything is possible but I think he’s more up for this fight than he’s letting on.
That proposed 80mil for the Joshua fight isn’t easy to shake off. He’s still gotta be chasing a undisputed fight within the 12 months.
That’s some big cash for a man who lives a luxurious lifestyle.

Spends a lot of time in the States.
Have you seen his cars, house, entourage, ect.
He’s earned well from the Wilder fights and from this fight but it’s not that much when you can spend it like he does.
Big big family, too.
Without a mega payday in the future I can see Fury in some financial trouble in a couple of decades.

He owns businesses and works hard on tours as well in between fights. I don't think anyone has to worry about him. He'll be up to about 70m in a few weeks. He couldn't spend it if he tried.

You’d be surprised with what manic-depressives, bipolar-like and all-or-nothing types can do.
Wasn’t long ago that he “nearly drove his Ferrari into a wall at 100mph”.
That was after the Klit fight where he got about 300k.
Guy lives a very luxurious lifestyle outside of camp and if you think he’s got anywhere near 70mil in the bank you’re wrong.
He’s probably got about a 5th of that. You can spend that very quickly in the 21st century.

He recently claimed he has earned £150 million .. which obviously is not true.

His claim to have bipolar is just as untrue. It was made when having depressive mental health problems was fashionable .. typical Fury he exaggerated it just that bit more. There has been no evidence, or even incidents to suggest he has bipolar .. plenty of evidence of him being a wind-up merchant though :OhYes:

Not in a million years is he earning £70m by beating Whyte. Even if he is, he's giving all his career earning to charity isn't he so doesn't all that matter?

I think he means accumulation. So 70mil might be right but he’s more than likely have spent vasts amounts of that on camps, lifestyle, houses, cars, Coke, cake,, entourages, living it up in the US, paying for his dads Subways, ect.
This 20mil he ‘will be getting’ for the Whyte fights helps but you have to question whether he’s getting that.
Frank is a clever guy and I’m sure they will have an alternative agreement.

Fair enough. Fury fights for the fans and not the money so it doesn't matter anyway. He donates all his winnings to charity so the needy win regardless.

Both have a history of coming in fat for lesser opponents, but from what I've seen of Whyte he's very serious. Dunno about Fury.

There'll always be good money for him as a personality and pundit if he retires undefeated, but if he loses I think he'll have to rely on his savings a lot more.
