The deal with Probellum is all about the Eurosport/BT/Discovery vehicle.

Things are getting very tasty.

Albeit fairly sickening if you think about how boxing is now being funded/underwritten.

That may be the case but I think Probellum’s deal with Eurosport is short term. It was noticeable in the press release that it was termed multi-fight over multi year.

This is the main point, people get excited when promoters come along and get tv deals, but ultimately it's gong to cost us more to watch it and decrease the likelyhood of fights taking place.

The fighters can call each other out knowing quite well tv and promotional deals are going to stop it from happening. On saying that I do think Probellum look to be a more formidable outfit that Boxxer. The amount of MTK fighters that could end up their would give them a serious stable. I'm interested to see what Fury does after his next fight.

No one knows about the Eurosport show/shows apart from the die hards. Eurosport won’t push much at all and Sam Jones/Richard Schaefer can only do so much.

I’ve had people message me today/yesterday excited about the Thor/Eddie Hall fight and the UFC too.

The BT show has had minimal promotion and is a poor show. Compared to the UFC card (which is 5 hours of competitive fights) it’ll likely not have much attention.
