118-108 Edwards, Waseem had pockets of success when Edwards sat on ropes, he roughed him up, landed some nice shots to the body but all in all a comfortable win for Edwards, boxed Waseem, as I say was happy to lay on ropes for spells and had plenty success there too, he boxed, moved, fought mainly as southpaw and just caught the marauding Waseem time and again with some cute counters, the right hand pull and the right hook worked a treat all night, also some clean lefts caught Waseem steaming in, scores too close for me, as game as Waseem was he was comprehensively beating there, without the deductions for Waseem that would've been razor tight

Martinez has a decent whack. Not sure whether he’d make the weight again.

Agree it’s a great fight but it’s not a good sign that he couldn’t make Super Fly at 6 weeks notice.

Felt like Prograis could have closed the show early v McKenna but seemed happy to be patient and pick his spots, clear gulf in class as was known before the fight but credit to Tyrone for his toughness, bounced back from being dropped clean and gave it a go despite being outgunned. Enjoyed his interview afterwards too, very honest about the punching power of Regis. McKenna never uses his physical advantages but that isn't going to change at this stage of his career it seems, always ends up a bloody mess win or lose!

Scorecards were surprisingly close in the Edwards fight, especially with the deductions. Edwards fought against the ropes for a period but was still firing off well timed counters pretty regularly, looked a comfortable winner to me. Hope the JCM fight is next.
