He’s never made lightweight from what I can tell. Fought mostly at welter and light-welter in his last few fights.
It won't be an enormous size difference I don't think but looking at it the opponent was building his experience at welterweight and now he's at the level of fighting for titles he's campaigning at 140, thus he didn't want to be cutting weight during the learning phase of his career.

Obviously that's just my take looking at it.

You’re right, I just looked. Still seems to have fought close to 135lbs recently, mind.
Can’t complain about him this late but be interesting to see him on the scales.
Hopefully he’s not a Mikey Garcia physique.

He’ll look fine at the weight I think.

Hopefully McKinson is switched on for it.

He is tall and long. must of been near dead that time he weighed 137, should look fine at 147.

im still not convinced its not just Levi kinsiona putting on an accent... https://boxrec.com/en/proboxer/833621

for reference heres alex martin... https://boxrec.com/en/proboxer/645114

Mckinson walking now. Should be interesting, martin dosent look horrible, Coms saying he is more comfortable at 135.... never been 135 befor thouhg, 137 last fight, 140 about the 5 befor that, bunch of 147 fights befor that... Looks like he would be dead at 135.

I hate when a boxer does a camp for an orthadox then has to fight a southpaw, gotta mess your timing wayyy up, but i guess your opponent didnt even get a camp.

bit of a tough watch this.......hardly any clean punches landing for either guy. mick's the one pressing and looking like he wants to fight more, which prob works in his favour

id like it more if they were actually hitting each other. martin doesnt fully commit to his shots and mick is having trouble landing on an elusive target. the air is being punished tonight

but tbf it is a competitive fight at least, better than a totally one sided drubbing

i can see that, basically every round is close but mick seems to be doing just a bit more most of the time. martin's defense is on point but he's too focused on not getting hit

honestly id have it all 10-10s hahaha. but i gotta slightly favor the one trying to engage if the rest is even..

Coms are talking like martin is controling the range.... he is just moving out of range and staying out of range... is that control?

martin's defense is nice but he's basically shut down his own offense in the process

weird fight, but i can not see it for martin... i think the best you could give him is a lot of 10-10s...didnt see him win a round other than mabey the thirdish round...

Mckinson wide for me, even though it was a close fight.

the woman let sergio talk her into the idea that martin was putting on some clinic. you got to have the offense and defense to put on a clinic, martin was fighting way too negative

Think sergio saw the one clean strait left in round 3, and then just pictured it in repeat the rest of the fight, because i sure as fuk never saw it again.
