Calm down, calm down.
This is very out of character so let's take a breath and reset OK?

As we head into the final weekend of March the chasing pack will be hoping to edge closer to overall leader oogiebe the bastard.
gregregegg is leading the March league and is well placed to take the bonus points.
However, we have a packed final weekend of tough fights to pick (and a potential double point fight!) so there could be plenty of movement in the standings!
OVERALL STANDINGS
1. 350.0 points | 57.80% | oogiebe
2. 295.0 points | 52.29% | Fightnight Scores
3. 292.5 points | 52.43% | NoScoutingReports
4. 285.0 points | 52.34% | adislav123
5. 280.0 points | 49.56% | gregregegg

Kiko vs Josh is a shoe in and I'm thinking it could be for double points? Let me know what the committee thinks?
Others that caught my attention, quite British focused, but there's a lot of good bouts.
FRIDAY 25th
Mikael Zewski (35 2 0) vs Carlos Ocampo Manriquez (32 1 0)
Troy Williamson (17 0 1 ) vs Mason Cartwright (17 2 1) - Maybe a clear favourite here
Lewis Ritson (22 2 0) vs Dejan Zlaticanin (24 3 0) - Zlat seems to be a big puncher, Ritson susceptible.
SATURDAY 26th
Dan Azeez (15 0 0) vs Matthew Tinker (8 0 0) - British Light heavy title
Richard Riakporhe (13 0 0) vs Deion Jumah (14 0 0)
Maxi Hughes (24 5 2) vs Ryan Walsh (27 3 2)
Tim Tszyu (20 0 0) vs Terrell Gausha (22 2 1)
Michel Rivera (22 0 0) vs Joseph Adorno (14 0 2) - Adorno last two fights were a draw
Notes:
Berchelt vs Nakatila - Think this is a knock over jobby. Nakatila is a force in Namibia...
Lemos vs Selby - Didn't notice initially...is Selby being sent over to Argentina to get jobbed?
Given all the choices above think these 2 can be benched....
Lets make 5 of the above for next weekend with Kiko-Warrington for double points.
Fight Selection committee please give your preferences.
Thanks.

March ends and another monthly league will soon be upon us.
Please see this post for this final weekends recap and the March league standings here viewtopic.php?p=5726459#p5726459
oogiebe remains consistent with his success but I (Fightnight Scores) have cut his lead down a bit to 45 points.
Making up the top 5:
adislav123 is 3rd overall, upped his game in March.
NoScoutingReports is the most consistent player in terms of pick success percentage each month (52.17%, 53.85% & 52.50%)
gregregegg had a big 15% increase in success rate from his February tally.
OVERALL LEAGUE STANDINGS
1. 395.0 points | 59.17% | oogiebe
2. 355.0 points | 54.10% | Fightnight Scores
3. 330.0 points | 54.24% | adislav123
4. 327.5 points | 53.04% | NoScoutingReports
5. 315.0 points | 48.82% | gregregegg

FIGHT PICK COMMITTEE
Looks to be really slim pickings next weekend! Severe lack of decent boxing action. At quick glance I can spot the following:
Sandor Martin (39 2 0) vs Jose Felix (39 5 1)
Martin beat Mikey Garcia last time, facing a big punchng Mexican, which is always a danger.
Florian Marku (10 0 1) vs Chris Jenkins (23 4 3)
Marku is hard hitting but questions about his boxing ability as he steps up. Jenkins is a bit of a well versed journeyman.
Ali Izmailov (7 0 0) vs Abraham Tebes (7 0 0)
No idea who these fellas are, but both unbeaten and going in a 10 rounder for their 8th fight. Russia vs Chile fighting in the US

There’s a rematch midweek.
Panya Pradabsri vs. Wanheng Menayothin II - March 29, 2022
Menayothin AKA Chayaphon Moonsri..
Can Pradabsri make it 2-0?
Can Moonsri get revenge?

Pradabsri vs moonsri fight is a decent one. but its a tusday in thailand... so not a big turn around, few people will likely miss picks on it if its included.
Sandor gets in by defultfor me. awfull use of what should be great momentum off the mikey win.
Obviously marku vs jenkins. Best fight of the weekend and evenish.
Savana vs noone... i guess its pick a method/pick a round but im not really into it. if we going womens id rather
Yuliahn Luna Avila's fight.... closer on paper and absolute wildcard seeing as noone here has heard of either (myself included)....
Im easy with whatever, less is more sometimes if theres nothing worthy...

I agree re less is more.
2 picks are fine.
No point in some 7-0 guys we haven't heard of, that's pickin for the sake of it.

Agree with gregregegg here. We will just stick with weekend bouts.gregregegg wrote: ↑27 Mar 2022, 09:08 Pradabsri vs moonsri fight is a decent one. but its a tusday in thailand... so not a big turn around, few people will likely miss picks on it if its included.

Agreed, I don't think it's competitive enough or high profile enough to include.
-----------------------------------
No idea about Alexander but record suggests nothing to write home about and is there to get battered by Gorman who needs opponents to look against.
------------------------------------
I think the less is more mantra works here so I'll make a judgement call and just go with the two bouts.

I’m ok with that.
Shame the Wanheng fight is early mid week.
It’s a pickem.
