Kiko Martinez vs. Josh Warrington II | DAZN - 26 March 2022
Re: Kiko Martinez vs. Josh Warrington II | DAZN - 26 March 2022
Why do people live the lives of people like his dad? Be overweight fine, but he’s a waiting cardiac event at the moment. Why would you wanna shorten your life by 20+ years?
He lives a good life you imagine with nice things. Put down the kebabs and maybe cut back the beer if you drink.
And spend as much time with your fam as possible.

Looking at all that spare skin around his waist he has been a lot bigger.

Yep - withdrew just over a week ago it seems. Replaced by Skye Nicholson. I don’t have anything against her but it’s a really poor replacement considering this was meant to be a step up fight for Hopey.cpx2 wrote: ↑21 Mar 2022, 11:23Hopey Price's name isn't in the latest promotional advertisement Hearn & Matchroom have put on their socials as far as I can see; someone suggested he was injured?Ruthless-RKO wrote: ↑21 Mar 2022, 08:29 • Kiko Martinez vs. Josh Warrington

Re: Kiko Martinez vs. Josh Warrington II | DAZN - 26 March 2022
That is disappointing - as you say would have been nice to see him against tougher opposition after his stay busy on the Ryder-Jacobs card. As it stands this undercard looks pretty poor and I'll probably only watch Hughes-Walsh and the main event; do you know much about Dalton's opponent? Per his record and who he's fought I'm guessing it should be a fairly routine win?maverick23 wrote: ↑21 Mar 2022, 11:25Yep - withdrew just over a week ago it seems. Replaced by Skye Nicholson. But by fight week, everyone should have an opponent. I'm not expecting some big opponents or anything, of course not.. But the later they leave it, you just know it's gonna be flipping neighbour across the road,

moylette was world junior am champ like 15 years ago....has some skills but is light hitting and chinny, and hasnt completed a full round since 2018. smith should take him out without too many problems

Yeah - I like the main 2 fights and Dalton Smith is one of my favourite prospects. You add in Hopey in a step up and it’s a really solid show.Ruthless-RKO wrote: ↑21 Mar 2022, 11:34I really don't mind the top four bouts, whatever it is.. I know you’ve been following Ebanie in detail for a while now but I’m not particularly bothered by her.
I’ll watch this over the Sky show but the Sky show surprisingly has more depth to it.

I thought Hopey was off the card?
For me, it's what I can access easiest..
My DAZN is cancelled.. I might not get it back this weekend, but can stream, unless the Sky card ends up on Showcase.
I'm gonna renew my WWE Network sub next weekend instead for the HOF, WrestleMania etc. Then cancel that.

Hopey is off the card - my point was that if he was still on there in a good fight then it’d be a really solid show.

I have a rare weekend without any work this week, so I might get DAZN and watch this one, then finally catch Wood v Conlan.

3 fights I want to see on one card.
Good stuff

I digress but I had to laugh when Buncey asked Ebanie Bridges why it was that she's become so popular.maverick23 wrote: ↑21 Mar 2022, 14:34Ah right - I thought you were a fan for some reason.Ruthless-RKO wrote: ↑21 Mar 2022, 13:43I post stuff on Ebaie, but I haven't been following her career or anything.maverick23 wrote: ↑21 Mar 2022, 12:10

I've never really been a fan of Kiko. No real reason why. Ive watched many of his fights, he has been around for ages.
But that last win, so late in his career..
Well now I've got a soft spot for him
I don't expect him to win this, but I also don't expect him to stop trying, and for that Kiko- I salut you

Re: Kiko Martinez vs. Josh Warrington II | DAZN - 26 March 2022
Should be straight forward unless Josh has completely lost it.
Kiko was handily losing every round before the KO.
It took Lara 8 rounds of bashing to get rid of Warrington.
I don’t think Kiko brings that intensity or volume of Lara and it’s fair to say Lara probably bangs harder that Martinez.
Think Josh will box a little smarter here; engaging often but at the right times and he will be nervous as his career is on the line.
Warrington UD 118-110.

Re: Kiko Martinez vs. Josh Warrington II | DAZN - 26 March 2022
You'd have to expect Warrington to win again here but I thought same going into there first fight and I only had him winning by a point, it's hard to say if we've seen the best of Warrington after the KO to Lara, he'd had a tough run of fights blew away Takouch then got derailed by promotional and covid matters, took a hard beating in that first Lara fight, the rematch was shaping up nicely as well
Martinez will still be buzzing off that Galahad KO and has a point to prove here, they'll definitely be action
