He wanted Wallin a few months back did Johnny Boy. What’s with the wait? Fisher looked shite last time and Derek has lost his last 3. The excitement of this fight and Derek’s come forward nature might suit Fisher more. It would be good to see where he’s at and this would be a good barometer.
I know it won’t happen.
Would be a good 50/50 and heaven forbid Delboy wins then Fisher comes back from a learning experience.
I struggle to believe why so many people are against 50/50s or thereabouts early in a prospects career.
Best thing that can happen to a pro is to lose on the debut and get that zero-syndrome out of your system ala Lomachenko, Hopkins, ect,

Is Fisher a prospect? I doubt he would last a round against Chisora at the moment.

Way way too early for someone as green as Fisher, he's only had 5 fights against novices and done one 6 rounder.

I think Chisora would still beat Babic and can beat better than him. If Eddie was confident in his man then he could put him against Wardley but I think Chisora could steamroll him. I'd prefer Okolie to face Briedis but if he's moving up to Heavyweight then Chisora is a good first test. It would be way too early for Fisher, who I don't see reaching World level even in his prime.

Other good options outside of the Matchroom scene would be trying to avenge his loss to Helenius or face a fringe contender like Wallin, Hughie, Martin or Kownacki. They're less likely I suppose.

I might be throwing Fisher in the deep-end but this plodding version of Derek isn’t very good.
He gasses early, swings wildly and if he wasn’t a nutter he’d be retired with dementia.
Derek should now be a gate-keeper for up and comers.. not calling out top 10 ranked heavyweights.
Fisher likely going no where but he should be able to tangle with Derek if he’s as good as we are being told.

Therein lies the issue.
