This is a good outing for him, but not enough of a test.
I actually think this is a decent fight for him. It’s perfect if he’s fighting every 10/11 weeks.

Davies Jr would be a really good fight in 6 months I think.

Irish man just needs to make this rough in close and hope to get hit in the dick again.... weird strategy but its his path to victory.

I followed Smith through the WSB and have been impressed with him ever since. Yes this is decent for him, I just feel he has to go hard, 25 is prime for a reflex style fighter.

pulled it off perfectly but told the ref he was ok, kinda give him credit for it. Kinda think if someones punching you in the dick and you get the chance to win from it, why not.

I first saw him in his last fight, against a tough journeyman sort, he showed how good he was by having it all his own way, getting off with all his shots.
However he couldn't put a dent in the fella.
At a higher level I think this will be a problem so I think he should adapt his style a bit, be less aggressive and be more hit and run.

Good finish by Smith. He’s a talent but could do with being more active. British title next please.

He’s a very tidy boxer but I wonder whether he’ll have the punch power usually needed to make a dent at world level.

Perfect.
10 rounds of experience and a stoppage for the record.
I do like this guy, despite the penis stuff. Just leave more of the amateur stuff behind and sit down on the punches...

Is there a better prospect in the country than Smith ?
Superb display there . Footwork is on point , the half step back before the counter for the first knockdown was sweet .

Agree. I guess that’s what happens when you train with Sunny Edwards.

I actually don’t think he intentionally went low. The first one really does look bad but I think that’s it more him trying to bring in some body shots from low and Moylette was too close so it hit low. I think a point would have been fair. 2 points off seemed harsh.

I thought he was stumbling back to the corner and actually thought it was good stoppage.

The second low one, in the replay, was actually a 1-2 straight to the meat and vege.
If he sat down on those hooks to the body, instead of throwing them on the move, he would have broken Moylette earlier. It's just the lingering amateur stuff. I believe he can find some power- and as you suggest - maybe not with his current team.

I think she got offered something to do with Britain's Got Talent and fooked it off - surprised as I thought she was a boxing fan and not a vacuous opportunist

Geeze there gloves look different. Walshes look tiny and are tapped llll the way up his wrist. Max looks like he has 16 ozers on, think its cause he keeps his hands open untill he punches.

It aint disappointing so far. :box:
Walsh needs to bring his right hand back after the jab, he is getting caught with what looks like a punishing hook

Sean o’hagan is the trainer of both Hughes and Warrington so they’ve put the Bridges fight in between to give him time to prep Warrington properly.
