Sandor Martin and Kerman Lejarraga headline Matchroom Spain cards in April and May

Two of Spanish boxing's most exciting names return to the ring live on DAZN.

Matchroom Boxing will return to the Palau Olímpic Vall d'Hebron in Barcelona, Spain on Friday 1st April for a huge night of action topped by Sandor Martin taking on Jose Felix for the WBA International Super-Lightweight title, live on DAZN.

Following his sensational victory over Mikey Garcia last October – Barcelona’s Martin (39-2, 13 KOs) is set for a homecoming event against the all-action, hard-hitting Felix (39-5-1, 30 KOs).

Unbeaten Olympian Samuel Carmona builds on his impressive and destructive performance in December, with his toughest assignment to date – taking on the seasoned super flyweight Fadhili Majiha (28-14-4, 14 KOs). After taking on Galal Yafai four times as an amateur, Carmona looks to keep winning and target an eventual meeting in the pro ranks with the Olympic Gold medal winner Yafai.

Barcelona’s exciting Spanish super lightweight champion Alejandro Moya (15-0, 10 KOs) takes a step up against Liverpool’s Tom Farrell (20-5, 5 KOs) and Ricards Bolotniks (18-6-1, 8 KOs) is back in action against unbeaten Croatian Hrvoje Sep (11-0, 8 KOs).

“I’m so excited to fight again in Barcelona,” said Martin.

“It is a very special comeback after beating Mikey Garcia in California. I needed to fight in front of my people again and feel their support.

“It could be my last fight before fighting for the World title. I don't want any surprises; I've worked hard, and I want to show that I'm ready.

“Fighting a Mexican boxer is always a challenge. They are true warriors, they come from a country of champions, and they offer exciting fights. Jose Felix is a good boxer, and he will come for the victory, I can't trust myself.

“This fight is the most important thing right now, but I keep looking to the future, I want to be world champion. I have climbed all the steps and now I have the most important one, to move my record to 40-2 and achieve my dream. I have done everything possible to earn that opportunity, I deserve it and I am not going to waste it, I want to face the best and make history.”

Martin not exactly capatalising on the Garcia win, maybe just a bit of a homecoming before a bigger fight

Night of scraps except for the main event and fair judging. Sandor should have been a world title challenger by now.

Sep/Bolotniks was well above a simple opener in terms of intensity, Obregon showed some nice counters and his will to fight. Carmona was slick and sharp as heck, with Cordova testing his durability as well.

carmona got battered for several rounds and was ready to go at the end. looked good early but started to gas and eventually started getting beaten up. getting that knockdown (from a punch to the arms) in round 9 was big for him. was nearly out at the final bell and commentators thought he lost. should've had a point deducted for continual holding and flopping. tbf it was very close though

sep-bolo was a good fight. nice exchanges. sep always coming, but bolo was just that bit sharper in most rounds. boxed more than he usually does

lomotey and obregon turned into a competitive scrap, got a bit heated and dirty

i didnt bother to watch the martin fight as it was an obvious mismatch and bound to not have many fireworks with his tyle. overall the undercard was good value though, all 3 fights i saw were competitive and had action
