Dwight Muhammad Qawi. In a toe to toe warfare, Qawi would be the last man standing. Too much grit and determination.
I don't think that Michael Moorer has been in wars like that SOB, Qawi.
Qawi by late knockout, around the 12th, in a terrific war.

Matter of fact, Moorer was in a terrific war with Bert Cooper.elmersalsa wrote: ↑29 Mar 2022, 22:58 Dwight Muhammad Qawi. In a toe to toe warfare, Qawi would be the last man standing. Too much grit and determination.

Re: Michael Moorer versus Dwight Muhammad Qawi
Qawi would wear Moorer down with jabs, body punches and heavy counters before stopping him in 11 rounds.
Re: Michael Moorer versus Dwight Muhammad Qawi
Qawi was in with Michael Spinks, and may have gotten stunned just once. There is nothing that Moorer can do to him that Qawi has not seen. I am with Qawi by 11th round TKO as well.

Re: Michael Moorer versus Dwight Muhammad Qawi
I'll pick Moorer in this one, by late round stoppage.
Do you remember how he was regarded at 175?
He had an aura of destruction and invincibility; it seemed there was no one who could stop him.
Were all of his wins at light heavy by KO?
Moorer defended the light heavy title 8 times -- granted, the opposition might not quite stack up to those Qawi faced in his three defenses at that weight. Moorer did go on to defeat Alex Steward, James Smith, Evander Holyfield, etc., at heavyweight -- fights I'm not sure Qawi would have won. Then again, that's at heavyweight -- not 175, where Qawi truly was a force, only losing to Michael Spinks.
Anyway, I think Moorer's power, height, killer instinct and southpaw stance at 175 could be too much for Qawi.
