Hmm, I'm only going by what Parker said in a interview recently. They are friends and have trained a lot together in the last two years. And bedire hearing that, I thought they sparred all the time, I mean, why wouldn't you?jimmystone wrote: ↑07 Apr 2022, 15:23I was under the impression they did technical sparring ("touch sparring") fairly frequently?KiwiRider wrote: ↑07 Apr 2022, 15:01Parker doesn't spar with Tyson, they do train together though.jimmystone wrote: ↑07 Apr 2022, 11:18
He's doing everything right really. Having Joe Parker in camp full-time is great. Top drawer technical sparring and then bring in the likes of Miller to let the hands go. Fury is way too good for Whyte, I think.
So I'm only going by what Parker said, and I would put money on him telling the truth from his strict upbringing he doesn't have it in him to talk a load of bollarky, like say- Tyson.
