Can't wait to see Joshua humiliated again.

Amazing how the last fight, Joshua lost yet still managed to rob Usyk by way of the scores been so close. I had Usyk losing just ONE round.

Yeh, shocking wasn’t it.

Usyk dominated that much they HAD to give him the decision.

It wasn’t even close.

It was a clear win for Usyk.

They were so clearly desperate to give AJ the nod, but like you say, it was such a domination even the corrupt/biased judges couldn't swing it.

Giving AJ more than 2 rounds was bad enough. I gave him one, but there was another round that you could swing to AJ.

There had often been a lot of bias in the Joshua fights. There were robberies against Savon and Cammarelle at the hometown Olympics. Joshua was ahead on 2 cards against Klitschko and wide on all 3 against Povetkin. It wasn't surprising with Usyk, the same stuff will be in the rematch.

Anthony Joshua vs. Oleksandr Usyk 2 rematch planned for July 23

Anthony Joshua vs. Oleksandr Usyk is potentially being planned for July 23rd in Saudi Arabia. Unfortunately, the July date isn’t ideal for putting together the undisputed heavyweight championship in 2022.

Moving the fight to July might help Joshua, as he looks mentally confused after his loss to Usyk. That was AJ’s second defeat in his last four fights, a signal that things were not well with him.

Moving the rematch from Usyk to July could allow Joshua to get a good mental grasp of what happened last time and make the proper corrections so it won’t happen again.

Right now, it’s not looking good for Joshua to get his act together in time for the July 23rd rematch.

Dan Rafael said the Joshua-Usyk 2 rematch is being discussed for July, which isn’t surprising because Usyk (19-0, 13 KOs) has been fighting a war in Ukraine and hasn’t had the time to train all these months the way that Joshua has.

Boxing fans won’t be happy waiting an additional month, as they thought the Joshua vs. Usyk II would take place in June.

Scheduling it for July means it’ll be ten months since the two last fought on September 25th, 2021, in Tottenham Hotspurs Stadium in London.

That’s a long time in between fights. The war in Ukraine is the leading cause for the delay of the rematch, but it’s possible that we wouldn’t have seen Joshua vs. Usyk 2 even if things were going well.

Probably best not posting stuff from that site, mate. That is a terribly written article that has been edited by a dog.

Not sure why anyone is surprised that they aren't fighting until July. That's almost par for the course now a days. Usyk will probably outbox him again. This time Joshua probably gets the decision. Then we get treated to a third fight in 2023. Yea.

Sources: Oleksandr Usyk-Anthony Joshua heavyweight title rematch slated for July 23, likely in Saudi Arabia

Oleksandr Usyk and Anthony Joshua will meet July 23 in a rematch for the unified heavyweight championship, likely in Saudi Arabia, sources told ESPN.

When they met in September in London, Joshua entered with three heavyweight titles but Usyk wrested the championship in dominant fashion. The former undisputed cruiserweight champion appeared on the brink of scoring the stoppage in the final round, but settled for a unanimous decision via 117-112, 116-112 and 115-113.

Joshua (24-2, 22 KOs) quickly exercised his contractual right to an immediate rematch, but the timing of the bout was in disarray due to the war in Usyk's native Ukraine. The 35-year-old was part of a territorial defense battalion in Kiev before he ultimately decided to leave the war-torn country last month to begin training camp and proceed with the rematch this summer.

"Luckily I did not see much of war," Usyk told YouTube channel Blockasset this week. "But what I see and what I know from my relatives and my friends is terrible. ... Some of my friends are missing and we do not know where they are now. Many of my relatives lost their homes and lost their friends and loved ones."

"All that is going on now is quite horrible in Ukraine," he added. "Every day I pray for the soonest possible end of this horror. In comparison with war, boxing is child's play."

Joshua, a 32-year-old native of England, is no stranger to title rematches in Saudi Arabia. After he was upset by Andy Ruiz Jr., via seventh-round TKO in June 2019 in New York, Joshua regained his titles with a decision victory over Ruiz in December of that year in Saudi Arabia's capital, Riyadh.

Usyk and Joshua both captured gold medals at the 2012 Olympic Games in London; Usyk (19-0, 13 KOs) in the heavyweight division and Joshua at super heavyweight. Joshua was a slight favorite when they fought last year, but Usyk's speed and superior boxing mind carried him to victory.

Usyk's win over Joshua was just his third fight at heavyweight. He previously captured the undisputed cruiserweight championship, a run that featured wins over Murat Gassiev, Tony Bellew and Mairis Briedis.

His impressive feats in two divisions lifted him to the No. 4 spot on ESPN's pound-for-pound list (Usyk is rated No. 2 at heavyweight behind Tyson Fury).

Joshua, ESPN's No. 4 heavyweight, owns wins over Wladimir Klitschko, Dillian Whyte and Joseph Parker. He will attempt to become a three-time heavyweight champion and once again exact revenge over a foe who defeated him.

Fury, who holds the WBC heavyweight title, meets Whyte on April 23 in London on ESPN PPV. A clash between the winner and victor of Usyk-Joshua 2 would crown boxing's first undisputed heavyweight champion in the four-belt era.

I’m sure the money he’s getting will help,
Does not sit well with me this.
Saying one thing and doing the other.
Every man aged 18-60 have good reasons to leave Ukraine but can’t; they are not given a choice unless they met very specific stipulations.
You have two different types of men here… Yarmelenko, Zinchenko, ect who cry in interviews/break down in goal celebrations or the likes of Lomachenko, Wladimir Klit, Zelenskiy, ect who are risking their lives to save something sacrosanct to them.
Usyk falls in the former there. It’s not doing anything wrong per se but stop going on about something you’ve just bailed on.
Doesn’t want to give up his great life; can’t blame him tbh but drop the act a little.

I both agree and disagree because he did go back to help and I can't blame him for taking an opportunity to make a very public political statement and to possibly finance the safety for those close to him. I don't really think it was fair for him to have been put in the situation to begin with. I'm predicting him and possibly Joshua aswell to make very pro-Ukraine or anti-Russia statements in both the build up and on fight night. It's all down to opinion and perspective in these scenarios I guess and until we ourselves end up in the same situation it's difficult to judge.

I don’t blame him for leaving. You own mortality is a scary proposition. I just think it’s right that we don’t class him as a hero in the same way as ordinary Ukrainians who are actually resisting the invasion and often giving their lives doing so. Plus the many names we know from sport who are currently doing the same.
They’re the real heroes. The likes of Usyk, Zinchenko, Yarmelenko, ect AREN’T doing anything wrong by not fighting.
I just think we should distinguish between them.

Anyone heard any rumours Joshua planning on using raid sirens and bombing noise effects to get into Usyk’s head.
I know he’s dropped the ‘stay humble’ shite but this can’t be real, can it?
Prick is already a racist… surely he can’t use war to his advantage?

And lose all his sponsors in about five minutes flat? It's absolute nonsense and whatever you think of Joshua it's unfair to spread such a nasty and obvious fabrication.

I made it clear that all I’ve heard is rumours with zero substance. Joshua has been blatantly racist in the past and he’s been untouchable so I’m sure if he really wanted to, he could make subtle things that I mentioned in my post happen and use naivety or plausible deniability to avoid any repercussions.
I didn’t start this. I’m just repeating what I’ve read on Twitter.
I know Twitter is bollocks so I take no notice but no matter what… Joshua… behind the humble facade is a pudendum.
With pudenda anything is possible.

For what it’s worth… the source was Box Story who is followed by some famous names in the boxing game including Tyson Fury, Matchroom, Chris Lloyd, ect and it’s now been deleted.
Unless you see something with your own eyes it’s likely to be bullshit.
I get that so no worries.

Who isn’t thinking about it? I’m sure it’s tough for his country to be under attack knowing you’ve left to pursue your career.
